seven years after his last lp on alpha house, argentinas franco cinelli has finished his next full length, all frequencies, due for release on esperanza in may 2014. over the course of the last 15 years, cinelli has released countless eps on labels like bass culture, airdrop and ilian tape and has proven himself to be a master of the groove, be it a house, techno or disco infected one. this new album encapsulates all that and channels his decades of musical experience into one album that has the dance floor as a common denominator.

based on a discography that stretches back to 2006, dachshund has long been one of the leading figures in switzerland�s electronic music scene. initially making his appearance in 2006 on num records, he quickly struck up a lasting relationship with co-chief quenum, the two remain collaborators to this day both as studio partners and co-curators of the clapper imprint. dachshund has since released on many storied dance labels: ilian tape, harthouse mannheim, perspectiv, contexterrior, and frequent home highgrade records. such a pedigree alone justifies his peers respect, and caduceus records is proud to present the yellowstone ep, featuring remixes from gerome sportelli, arttu, and lad.

now, the zenker brothers are back with their first release for tresor, brandishing a matured sound and level of sensitivity yet displayed by either before. *lion in mars* is like a fresh breeze billowing through the tresor vaults. honing in on signatures from the archive and repackaging them in modern sentiment, here zenker brothers deliver a record that gleans through the generations to deliver a cunning symbiosis of techno future, past and present. on the a-side *knighthof* and *the future is you* offer driving vintage basement techno with a zenker twist, whilst b-side tracks *davin* and *cosmilian*, the eps clattering dystopic closer, blend detroit tones together with their respective ilian-proven pallets.

this well established label of dub-techno comes with the fifth release after a short break. the original track is signed by the label owners alessandro verrina & ander plau, it is beautiful and deep, as usual. the experience of marco zenker (ilian tape,etc) creates a rhythmic and lovely remix. the last track on this ep is a more dub and chill-out version of youandewan, who is always in good shape. for pleasure is back.

imugem orihasam is one of japans most exciting and driven electronic music composers. with a slew of releases on the likes of ilian tape, sistrum and new kanada, to name but a few, he is clearly a man on a mission. he started out making hip hop beats in 1997 but by 2000 exposure to jeff mills by a close friend ignited a fire that burns deep and blue. upon listening to these four tracks two things becomes clear, imugems unique vision as well as his immaculate sound design and production sensibility. the tracks are deep but propulsive, futuristic yet filled with emotion. dive in.

following up after the mental drop by detroits master of repetition, population one, we have a new signing hailing from the land of the rising sun, helping us to set the standards for this new imprint� uncompromised techno funk! japanese producer imugem orihasam has spent the past 3 years slowly evolving. his early work on ilian tape and esperanza sounds like that of an already seasoned craftsman digesting detroit bit by bit, with a focus on lush textures and swooning eerie melodies. this past year has seen a spike in activity for imugem, with releases on patrice scotts sistrum recordings, berlins nsyde, and adam marshalls new kanada�all showcasing a more focused and exuberant approach that has sharpened his reflective compositions. with gem, imugem steps away from the supple melodies and tranquil atmospheres for a trip deep into the power plant.

rosario born argentinean franco cinelli has been firmly rooted behind the decks since the tender age of 14. drawn by the call of the drums and having researched the creation of music through computers and samplers, the mid 90s saw cinellis first productions taking shape. rapidly becoming a key player on the argentine scene, franco played throughout the country, holding a residency at the prestigious el sotano. his first forays to europe came in 2003, but it was 2005 that his own music really made an impact. having released a handful of releases and mix compilations on smaller labels, it was his picaro ep with bruno pronsato that really brought him to the attention of the music world. since then, franco has gone on to release and remix for a number of established imprints including ilian tape, produkt, claque musique, hello repeat, airdrop , international freakshow, alphahouse and the label of his great friend kasper, esperanza. in 2011 following his critically acclaimed >planet dub< debut ep on bass culture records, franco cinelli finally achieved global recognition with his massive underground remix of cassius >sound of violence< that placed strongly in many of the end-of-year top 10 best remix of 2011 lists. today franco returns to bass culture records for a new take on his trademark deep & techy house with 4 original tracks on the >take me back< ep
