new clone basement series (lucky number 013!) with the long awaited return of a made up sound (aka 2562), following up on his archive ep/cbs02. written as a counterbalance to the more experimental releases on his own amus label series, archive ii finally unleashes whats possibly his most banging, straight-forward club material to date, while retaining the trademark a made up sound funk and swing.hang-up is all about the irresistible herbie-injected groove, cut-up and layered to great effect, whereas things get darker and bass-heavier with technotrack sweetback on the flip. keeping the tension high till a drop towards the end, seven minutes never seemed so short. a great first number 013 release and we cant wait to hear some of our favourite djs play the tracks out loud. another proper banger on the clone basement series!

dark funk for dirty minds! three new and raw box tracks by paul du lac (bio rhythm), who seems to be pushing his minimalistic jackin sound palette even further. we have the fierce and autistic-tantristic dirtyness of tantra master, the dance mania flavoured funk of childs play, and the deep strings of the bassline-driven spaces below, a classic chicago-inspired piece of work that seems to come from deep within.punchy and excellent dj tools.lo-fidelity, hi-energy.

elitechnique is back! intrusion is a 8 track ep with some stunning tracks. the pair (remco de jong aka phako and florentijn boddendijk) find an ongoing source of inspiration in disco and electronic obscurities as weve learned from their previous releases (which have been played and charted by all the big names in modern disco), but combine this with their fascination for the great 60s and 70s soundtracks! the result is a timeless imaginary sound track that adds sex and intrigue to their music and unleashed from the chains of dancefloor productions. on this intrusion album they take freedom to play around with atmosphere, intensity and tension without only keeping the focus on the dance floor. the result is a great versatile ep which feels like a soundtrack for a 70s french movie! both being skilled producers and musicians the result is an album extraordinaire with all instruments and music played,recorded and arranged by themselfs over a period of more then a year! first 500 numbered copies come as collectors edition with full colour artwork and extra heavy vinyl!

clone classic cuts continues their re-issues series for one of the most influential techno acts ever: drexciya. the second selection of tracks includes favorites such as bang-bang,positron island,anti vapour waves and journey home complimented with some lesser or unknown tracks. raw, uncompromising music made with soul and creativity have always has been the trademark of drexciya (and also from their original label underground resistance) and this album is another showcase of their talents. btw there is not much further background info we can give. all that can be revealed is already out there.

alden tyrell hooked up with mike dunn for some new work!. a golden combination which already worked out great as we learned from the heavy remix tyrell did for the murphy jax & mike dunn collaboration (its the music - cat# cjfd06). tyrell always jamming and playing around with his synths had some tracks inspired by early mike dunn songs. so the obvious happened ... the hooked up for some appropiate vocals and here it is ... touch the sky! a peak time acid monster with mikes vocal chant in the style of his classic md3 projects. gerd is on remix duty here and delivers a killer remix with a more traditional chicago groove and build up. clone head honcho serge had some studio time with tyrell for a dub mix. the serge & tyrell dub mix turned out a bit wild and became a classic piece of piano and dx bass driven chicago house music with stuttering vocal samples and a acidic synth line. another strong clone jack for daze!

ultraltd nice price action >>> here an unexpected bonus 12 inch to the clone 56. with an exciting remix by man of the moment 2562! he delivers a mix full of heavy sub basslines that make the house shiver and completes it with fine detroit melodies. 2562 manages to craftly dart between a concentrated detroit-techno drive and a sensuous dubstep swing which is slightly going towards a 4/4 beat.... but then falls back into that seductive two-step pace. bernardi gives us another take on the original version which is on a melodic, moody and even melancholic tip... so sweet! to top things of mark august delivers his bonus beats extracted from his glossy house-flavoured techno track. as usual with the clone x series: limited supplies!

tom noble with a reprise 12inch of his great dancing hard track taken from the liger vision debut ep. mr. noble is recognized as one of the worlds top diggers when it comes to disco and rare funk. he got some help from his british equivalent mr al kent from million dollar disco fame, who got some help from his buddies ray harris on keys and kev mcshane on guitar to craft this awesome remix, or actual new recorded version of dancing hard! this is a limited edition remix twelve inch that comes in an edition of 500 copies! pre-orders are essential.

the third and final part of the n.t.a. triptych by versalife! another amazing ep with 4 tracks that are like the night. dark, sinister and intense! electro/techno tracks as we like em!

after conforces tight album release on delsin and other concept projects he did he/we went wild with this one and selected some tracks we just want to play out loud in a club from vinyl (incl. a killer remix by gesloten cirkel for the title track). at first sight these tracks dont have much in common... and probably still not for the second listen, but we didnt really bother for this one. it will be a standard in our dj box for the coming months with 4 tracks that all have a bit of a different groove and a different mood. grain, be there at night, 24 and 24 remixed by gesloten cirkel. this is probably as versatile as a clone basement release can get.

this is the first part (of four) of the much anticipated reissue series of drexciya s early catalogue, marking 20 years since the release of their first ep deep sea dweller , and 10 years since their final album grava 4 . one of the most influential techno acts ever, and part of the heritage of detroits underground resistance, drexciya explored techno like no-one else before: raw and uncompromising music that reflected the harsh environment of the city where drexciya was conceived, with a mythical approach that only added to their cult appeal. drexciya arguably stands for the darker side of techno and electro, made not only for the club scene, but a further development of the music as an expression and extension of the mind. journey of the deep sea dweller is a near-complete collection of their early works, released in four parts, with all audio remastered from the original master tapes. since the original releases have such a strong character and stand on their own, these reissue can never recreate the magic of those originals. instead, clone have stirred up the catalogue, taking tracks out of their original context, giving the committed fan a fresh experience and the new listener a document that is the best possible introduction to the aquatic world of drexciya.

clone classic cuts serves another cult italo disco classic! gorgeous female vocals slapped on that lovely 80 s synthesizer/drum programming. this is one of those releases that easily makes it into the top 50 of all time greatest italo disco songs. produced by roberto ferrante (also known for his pinneaples project) and originally released on the obscure airport label in 1984. we managed to restore and re-master the original versions and the lovely paris mix. on top of the original versions we serve you a new re-rub by italian italo specialist bottin (eskimo, artifacts etc). bottin did a great job with a new crazy soundhack mix that cranks up the energy level and makes it more jackin. pretty amazing when you realize that these tracks are making people dance for 28 years now. more then enough reason for a proper re-release on high quality vinyl. enjoy!
