zierliche dame mit gewaltiger soul-stimme geht auf reisen, macht bei befreundeten musikern station und kommt schließlich mit 4 stücken feinster tanzmusik auf dem acker an - so die zusammenfassung der aktuellen geschehnisse. tatsächlich handelt es sich hier um 3 unabhängige produktionen und einen remix, die zum song sunbelt regret von miss natnat entstanden sind. dementsprechend abwechslungsreich geht zur sache. wolfgang lohr entfaltet ein gewitztes wechselspiel zwischen klassischem song und elektronischem abgang, mal steht sein butterweicher house groove im vordergrund, dann wieder gehört das stereopanorama voll und ganz der stimme von miss natnat. zusammen mit tinush schlendert sunbelt regret noch etwas entspannter heran, hier kommen die loungigen pianosounds besonders gut zur geltung. wenig überraschend und doch immer wieder faszinierend. der zündende funk von mollono.bass, der in seinem remix einen schwerpunkt auf die ausdruckstarke stimme legt. die lübecker artenvielfalt macht ihrem namen schließlich alle ehre, indem sie miss natnat im kontext eines verträumten, hochgradig melodiösen grooves präsentiert.

further to motor city drum ensembles dj kicks compilation, his exclusive single l.o.v.e. has been reworked by the young detroit prodigy kyle hall, the painter and music creator wolfgang voigt and an excellent remix by smallpeople. kyle has been highly influenced and captivated by the underground deep house sound of detroit. inspired by artists such as theo parrish, mike huckaby, rick wade, 3 chairs, kdj and omar s, who believe their music has a certain feeling of the advant garde and liberation from the so-called rules people place upon dance music. kyle took that principle of their music and applied it to music that he was trying to create. wolfgang voigt is known for his numerous, nearly inexhaustible list of one-off projects and aliases. of these, his best known is arguably >gas< a project that saw the marriage of ambient music and 4/4 techno. his remix of motor citys l.o.v.e shows his minimalistic approach to music he has been famed for worldwide. smallpeople are julius steinhoff & just von ahlefeld aka dionne. smallpeople are focused on a wider range of music and can be diverse- between deep house, detroit techno and some chicago flavours but always within the balance of atmospheric warmth and club suitability bringing yet another perfect addition to this remix package. watch out for more big tunes from smallpeople in the near future

the globetrotting album concept has returned as hed kandi world series takes on the usa, and after the recent success of world series miami vol 2, it only makes sense to continue this journey through americas evolving electronic music scene. electronic dance music has made it to the forefront of music across the globe, with it recently exploding in the united states. following the success of this yearÕs ultra music festival in miami and electric daisy carnival in las vegas, djÕs were booked to headline major festivals in america such as coachella, lollapalooza and swsx. with 3cds covering los angeles, las vegas and new york, it was difficult to whittle down the massive floor fillers we collected to only 45 tracks that represent the hedonism and glamour of dance music in the top 3 cities of the us.
