inflicted welcomes another hot newomer on the label, jan fleck! turn red is sven wittekind most fav. track at the moment! this track comes with a real heavy beat and some church bells before the breakdown is rolling over the floor with his sweepy piano melody, which is changing into a nasty synth after some seconds. when the beat is coming in again, there is no holding back for everyone! >i don t care< is a freaky fresh hardtechno track, with a good arrangement and nice vocalcuts! the breakdown in this track is pushin the dancefloor to the peaktime limit! >my descent< a nice compressed loop combined with a heavy baseline synth. making his way in the minds of the bassline lovin technoheads! >epic< is another huge track on this release! a great hardtechno loop makes his way to one of the best breaks ever. sweepy stabs bring you an evil baseline combined with a amazing dnb/breakbeat loop before the well done hardtechnoloop strikes back!

this japanese technopioneer has done some masterpieces last year on well respected labels such as audio assault and zwart. now its time to hit back with a stunning and pounding ep on the new label dynamic reflection. this kid is the headchef of mindcrushing synths, steady pounding beats and crispy percussionloops as the first track so clearly shows. the guys from radial put out an awesome remix on the a2! their rework leads you into the dark paths of techno, a true dancefloor killer! before checking the flipside you better insert your earplugs, cause here mr. hiyama comes up with an narly mind blowing stomper. he shows us how stuff like this is meant to be done and has no mercy on those eardrums. secondly there is another remix from the spanish wonderboy reeko, who takes you into the deep and dark dungeons of his spanish artgallery. with his heavy basslines and his extraordinary uplifting percussion loops he pushes himself to another level with this one! all n all a superior first release on this new and pure techno label, which perfectly reflects the current techno movement and promises loads more of that sweet stuff in days to come

Dynamic Reflection
a fresh addition to the moodmusic roster but a longtime veteran in the house-scene, alexander maier aka dj all*star from stuttgart is well known from his earlier releases on buzzin fly, exun and criminal records. he began his career playing underground techno in south of germany but over the years became more and more influenced by detroit and chicago house. you can hear these influences on sahara in both the rain and river version. deep and reduced grooves with enough soul and atmosphere, yet fully functional for the floor, sahara rain kicks in with a heavy bass sequence building a perfect platform to be followed by the synththeme which hit s the peak hour perfectly. i see some hands going up here already… sahara river starts more housey, building a classy, low-slung huge groove with perculating synths and almost tribal feel to the drums. the modulating synths lifts the track to new heights with a break of superbly layered twisted pads before the drums kick back in in full effect. as this would not be enough we asked our thrusted chicago connection and alexs buddy, mazi aka audio soul project to remix sahara rain. if you consider people who s been in the biz for some time mazi is one of the warriors of the sound, never choosing the easy way but thrustfully following his true way of house music. and house it is, classic but cleverly updated to 2008 with a twist of so-cal thrown in for good measure. bouncey and jacking is the words which comes into mind when hearing this, excellent work and a another bomb for the hot months to come

its house but not as we know it! young david, aka dave young, chose his artist name as a reminder of what it said on his office door before he took some time out in the summer of 2006. swapping the office for what an estate agent might describe as a cosy basement studio in stockholm, he now sits around making beats all day the fuji ep is musical adventure. bridging the gap between soulful and minimal and blending crunchy mid-tempo party beats with intoxicating two-tone, jazz and dub flavours. equally at home on the dance floor, ipod or lounge stereo, the tracks have a sense of space and depth and, above all, a real musicality which comes not (only) from the pushing of a few buttons, but from a lifelong quest

the munich resident florian senfter aka zombie nation or john starlight is well-known as the creator of tracks like kernkraft 400, souls at zero, space marines and last not least blood angels, which can also be found on the sound of the third season, and is thus a reliable choice for sweaty, energetic eruptions up to the fringe of demolition. this doesnt change significantly on road rage, which was originally released by ukw in a limited number of copies and is now the first sign of life from senfters studio, after three years of abstinence. with timehonoured plus 8 references and acid elements, the original recollects an almost gone quality of techno: to blow away your skullcap with the unashamed joy of telling stories, many breaks, some funky dirtyness and experimental noise playfulness. exclusively made for cocoon was the remix by parisian turbo producer popof who gives the track an even more intense gross-grained feeling. one does not have to be a prophet at all to tell that both versions are facing a great future in club autumn 2008 and beyond

support by djinxx, jichael mackson, tobias becker, pelle buys, rulers of the deep, dave mothersole, laurent garnier, leandro gamez, james talk… gedankensport signed a new amazing artist for you. with his sense for minimal techno and house arrangements he bursts every brain, because he will start the real sport of thoughts in your mind. christopher rau, who came in contact with electronic dance music in 2004, produced three poetic minimal housetracks reduced to some kind of essential form of electronic music. a: gribuntal: this track is pure minimalism. based on this monotone organ chord that seems to make you insane during the nearly eleven minutes, there is kind of tropical feeling, too. the easy tribal percussions put this track in warm, windy and relaxed beach surrounding, nobody wants to leave..

the man behind some infamously amazing and joyful live sets, a successful first album for musique risqué, a great ep for oslo, and a brilliant debut on circus company with petit djinns-including the underground hit >sous l arbre<, guillaume & the coutu dumonts is now back on cc with >i was on my way to hell<. a delicious two-tracker for different moments, covering two distinct vibes perfectly. on the a side >i was on my way to hell< is a jam that bubbles over like a volcano with a marvelous synth pad melody building along with a gospel preacher sample. all the while a heavy groove powers away underneath- he’s got the secret! on the b side, we are taken to a more quiet but still melodic environment. >can’t argue with silence< opens up with a rolling bass line, a simple refined groove, and then gradually sprinkles tasteful acoustic hits and ethno-styled synth stabs on top. close your eyes and feel the heat of an >arabian night< inna guillaume & the coutu dumonts house sylee!

a deep mixture of raw funk, oldschool house, bass, more bass and some kind of a dubstep vibe... the title track pressin on goes straight on dirty bassline moves crossed by dedicated trumpet sounds while the second cluster funk got tricky clap programming and lives up to ones name. on the flip humongous and driftwood are not less funkier but both are with some kind of detroit house appeal and impressive minimal ruffness...

short after the latest (develish) dapayk single mos ferry fields the dutch guy henk van zwol aka olene kadar again. his label debut >vakbekwaam< (mfp035) is still fresh and we do remember him playing his liveset on some of the spring-time mos ferry labelnights where he was soaked in sweat during his performance. all this established a solid relation between amsterdam and berlin, which is about to be expanded. the new release >paying billl< presents two new olene kadar masters. on the a-side theres >sarg wualb< taking the subject of >i-modulate-that-siren-until-everybody-gets-up-from-his-seat< to the next level. on the flip side called >betrokken< the young man proves that a track with extensive usage of edgy >frickelsound< elements doesnt have to end in a top-heavy electronica-piece, but can be directed to the floor, very straight forward and impulsive techno. these two tracks show once more what henk van zwol demands from his body and his consciousnes when playing live

these hand-picked tracks are now available on a dj-friendly 2-sided-4-tracks-vinyl-ep and let me tell you, they are well worth the extra investment. the first of the bunch starts off with big man lexys fancy girl, an ever-growing minimal techy peak-time-pusher with a hushed vocal-sample, some anaologue signal sounds and a futuristic and pumping beat. add a great distorted melody to this on the breakdown and the dancefloor will thank you for putting this on: they will go mental! after this introduction, its the newcomers mickey monzza & joseph discos turn with their equally stimulating track lonely. this is a great modern piece of pumping dub techno with a straight-forward attitude. the hi-hats on this tune are mesmerezing, the clappy snares and sirens perfectly placed and the subtle dubby and groovy melody an ideal antithesis to this hectically moving tune. simply nice! but hold on, there is more to come. on the flip there is hamburgs house impressario h.o.s.h. with his track ben johnson and whether this title is a reference to the legendary sportsman or not, its a pretty record-worthy track: wonderful little stabs and vocal sounds and a bassline so warm and groovy it makes your heart melt. then when the breakdown hits you with its long and winding signal sound, the dancefloor will already be bathing in a floor filled with sweet happiness. this is truely delicious! the two newcomers and residents at hive club in zurich animaltrainer have the honour to finish off this ep with their oily tech-house-anthem talkshow, a superb main-floor-peak-time-melody-affair.
the first release on new glasgow label seinan music will be from rising star sei a. this boys stock has been rising fast with releases on french house stables such as missive, silver network and imprime {he may or may not also be responsible for a certain awesome re-edit of an oxford band containing word radio}... fans of his work include miss kitten, laurent garnier, ben watt and a host of many others. meth is another slice of his trademark techy but melodic sound. with haunting vocals and a solid hook, this is due to rock floors from glasgow to guatemala, tech style. on the flip, man of the moment milton jackson takes things a little deeper and darker with a solid mix that will appeal to fans of his work on labels such as freerange, winding road and tsuba. with a musical agenda that sticks to its guns but is not afraid to take a chance is the frame of mind going forward for seinan music. the label has some exiting plans for the future including remixes from another fcomm stalwart, llorca and more releases from sei a.

MODERATO MISTICO

15.09.08
dj support by adultnapper & matthias kaden !! cynosure is proud to present the debut ep of one of italys finest house and techno djs, andrea fiorito. hailing from the southern city of bari, andrea brings new warmth to the otherwise ice cold italian house sound and delivers a timeless deep house original. things commence on >moderato mistico< with a subtle tribute to a close a friend that has some serious issues with partying called >boti world<. a stripped down minimal house groove with several different monster bass hooks. a killer bumping, grinding, walking bassline that heats the floor with every change up. but as we all know this is not enough to really push things to the limit, so andrea answers the call and brings the furry with givan on the sax. imagine that moment where things in your night boil over the edge and you begin to loose control. thats when givans post punk style sax attack begins to push things past the threshold of insanity. next we have the lovely >betty loop< feat the sensual voice amelia saul. a layer of percussion a la spring reverb set the pace leading into some piano chords and a giant bass hook that make up the foundation of the groove, laying the sonic rose pedals down for amelias presence to be heard. with a voice sweeter than honey and some twisted lyrics, she creates a sexy yet warped feeling in this track. and of course if the vocals were too much, you can play the dub version >betty goes to gio< and mix your heart out. with >moderato mystico< andrea fiorito lights the deep minmal house flame for cynosure closing the summer releases in style by producing heat that only a southern italian can. howie mangel

a1: wasserhahn this ones a dirty little fucker, featuring ecstatic, animalistic outbursts of joy over a rigorous bassline and some heavy distorted percussions. its roaring, its loudmouthed and its certainly funny. b1: house kaoss on the a-side, a spacey tripster finds us rolling on the floor, bringing up an especially funky bass glued to some spooky chord stabs. an isomorphic stomper not only for those who know..
the latest release on rising trax is this cheeky little ep from max vangeli. three top draw tracks on show here. >crazed< starts simple yet effective and builds slowly into a big distorted guitar hook before dropping back into a very militant rhythm. >k.e.j.i< is a stripped down prog house number with a wicked groove overlaid with nice stabs and a cool hook. the final track of the ep is >i rock< which begins as a minimal house track then drops with some cool squeaks, bleeps and delayed noises. the stabs turn into a big snyth riff which can only be described as large!

peaktime goodness built for the dancefloor. >k5000< expect some manipulated beats with an amazing drive ending up with a climax of snares, this has all the right ingredients to make it another einmusik classic. we defy anyone to stand still when this one drops >ehrfurcht< has more epic proportions with delicate and subtle layers of melody washing around a threathening bassline... one hell of a mental track
three hot cuts by editechnique. these guys turned some nice tracks into killer tracks and added some own flavors to it. sounds like they found some crazy wack tracks and turned them into hot peaktime material!

excellent techhouse! heavy support by someone else, afrilounge, benno blome, sian, mijk van dijk... dani casarano & felipe valenzuela (connaisseur rec.) from chile and fabio gianelli (material rec.) show their kind of style between deep techhouse and rhythmetic techno!! 10 anos is an amazing timeless electro-house tune - extremely rhythmic and funky - flip over for the phenomenal deep tech house tune esperanza - sonorous subbass, melodic horns and some metal echo chambers - all continuously driven forward by a powerful stomping bassline - massive
