psychedelic new jazz trio, pioneers in the tel aviv music scene, mainly by introducing through this band a brand new sound, blending jazz with rock and electronics. guitarist/pedal master yonatan albalak, drummer/producer aviv cohen (aka sol monk) and bass player gilad abro, are all well-known jazz-oriented musicians, constantly performing around the world with various projects. the three create under the name of layerz since 2010. things on top of each other is their second album, written and recorded during a 3 days session in the studio. it feels like a natural progression from memory tower their first album recorded in 2012. this album has a distinctly more beats-oriented approach. guests in the album are pianist nitai hershkovits, vocalist kerendun and vocalist marina maximilian blumin.

nearing its first birthday, other people is celebrating the only way it knows how: work. the label has put out new material every sunday since it launched with last years trust compilation, and the culminating work comp doesnt break that streak-consisting almost entirely of new material from other peoples artist roster, and a few remixes from some special guests. work is not, however, an uncooked mash of music.

deep, growling static contracts and contracts to a point, pumping out new sounds like solar flares. the pings of a high keyed synth rush by like stars. for harrington, what begins as one ends in many places-every sound is infinite.

we proudly present the second release of meduka records, the *chitlin circuits* ep. produced by two friends based out of vienna, felix rupprecht & paul walter. paul was responsible for the first release *shining ep* on the upstart label. felix was born in frankfurt am main but moved to vienna, where they both met each other in 2013. a few all night jam sessions later, this record was born.
