with this compilation aarhus-label help recordings presents a selection of electronic music, giving it the self-evident title *relevant material*. on the first face, an uncredited weird intro is followed by two tracks from two debutants. the lofi energy of brooklyn-based love letters is followed by a new-and-classical house-sound from sports, the younger brother of the two label-heads. on the flipside older brother central, who recently appeared on the the neighbour-label nord records, shows his calmer and more melodic side. the local group lester, who did the first tape on the label, deliver a playful jam, a groovy exploration of machine dance music. the final grooves of the compilation reveal another uncredited sportive track.

midgar is proud to introduce a newcomer for the third release. a great debut for the maltese cloned, delivering not less than 4 cuts with sapphire 1990 e.p. the record, way more straightforward and groove centered than the previous midgar outputs, opens with sapphire 1990, track that sounds like very nostalgic memories from a timeless rave. thanks to a genuine simplicity and the great arrangement of its elements, this first cut has the perfect characteristics to become a dancefloor anthem. on the same side, a live out-take from cloned’s repertory, the pendulum swinging synth-lines which dominate pretty direct rhythmics filled with hi-hats and claps over a costant background noise. belgassem as the first cut on the b side, is an absolutely heavy one for the label’s standards, made of deep kickin’ drums and haunting voices empowered by a really strong and obsessive acid-line. closing the vinyl, the slow (and again really acidic) submerging is like a lysergic vessel headed to more comfortable dimensions, where groovy drums are embraced by very bright heavenly pads. sudden death is instead a chilled-out broken beat interrupted by confused speeches and detroitish pads, resulting as a modern ritual of ascension towards higher spheres. corel drives the release to the end, recalling most of its main features: a restless run through misty soundscapes along a path studded of bells and overwhelming, sharp hi-hats.

taking a few steps off it’s usual housy path, metereze presents a fresh new face and a more techno approach to dance music. it is melodie that signs the 4th installment and he is taking it deep into the realms of acid with 3 tracks that not only go well together but they are all meant to make you move in a big way.
acid sunday is as acidic as the name suggests it but in the end it’s the most poetic of the 3. the subtle pads are kinda dreamy but the 303 sounds make it super driving. on the same side we have rhythmico which is dark, percussive and powerful. subtle background bleeps complete the wandering synth that comes and goes but never really seems to go away.
housed on side b justa is a techno monster in its own right. sonically very close to the other two, this is by far the darkest track on this ep. and probably the strongest. techno infused house you may call it or whatever, this is the kind of track that puts you on a serious move whenever, wherever.

capsule labs music groups debut release is a 4 track house ep from label boss gil t (om, drop music, deeper shades). taking off with the lush sounds of flight 107, a smooth synth journey, nicely descends to get down low�. the afro cuban house beat sets a nice groove for the live jazzy vibraphone stabs of this classy track. the b side is a real bonus. the private driver really cruises and lastly, not so low is a chunky finisher remix of the title track, all done in house. locally farmed variety of true analog precision by gil tamazyan. each release has its own plastic drop card with a string being held in place with a limited pressing metal foil sticker individually numbered 1-500 on the back side of the jacket. heavyweight virgin vinyl.

mumble ltd. 001 is the first from our vinyl release series. this various artist ep features tracks from close friends and artists that have been supporting the label for quite some time. the release features a carefully selected deep and dance floor oriented music. label owner just_me teams up with the london based producer tileff to deliver the a side of this record. to complete the va romanian herck and belgian glico deliver two strictly groovy pieces.

recent output has seen dorisburg pushing into deeper realms. computer drumming are some further steps in these explorations of 4/4 rhythms and acoustic depth. with a wide range in tempo, the track titles offers aid for the venturous. a1 is a reduced jam of echoing percussion that never sees the entry of a kick drum. a2 compensates with bouncing bass and a playful array of drumming elements entering and dropping off in a bold tempo. exiting on a more well established pulse, the b side consists of the deepest and most mysterious offering from dorisburg to date. distant bells and chimes and a grand formation of percussion meets thundering bass in an encounter set on vast grounds.

currently causing quite a stir on the underground, the jerome hill remix of marshall jeffersons s trax classic lost in the groove is a complete re-interpretation, solid jacking (hard) house music using the original vocal that s cut loud onto the vinyl and worms inside your head and has been doing serious damage in the clubs and festivals last year. now with all licensing and red tape cleared away, it s set for release. dancer boom boom is actually a collaboration between acid legend adonis and sidney winters, with a mix down by house legend frankie knuckles. this sat on the b side of am a dog on trax records and is rare & obscure to say the least, but once the needle touches the groove you know it s a killer. massive kick drums and mysterious organ scales, this one is a mad mad tune ! produced in 1987 (and sounding like nothing else from that year) it s been given a very slight and very respectful re-arrangement by jerome hill, remastered and cut super loud. strictly limited and if the previous titles on the label are anything to go by, this one will sell out equally quick.

the detroit music community has outposts in nearly every major city, and vancouver, british columbia is no exception. this ep represents the connection of two such artists, detroit native, josh garrett, who currently resides in vancouver and runs the subspec label, and rennie foster, a stalwart of the underground, who has spent a quarter of his life in tokyo, but born in bc and now living back there, in vancouver. rennie has released on a myriad of detroit labels, such as transmat, teknotika, soiree, subject detroit, wallshaker, and motech. josh and rennie met in vancouver, only since rennies recent return, and realizing they were of the same tribe, immediately began to collaborate on a number of projects, now including this limited run, double a-side, record, chalk full of dj friendly techno trax, firmly rooted in the motor city sound, yet unique enough to be a contributor, not just another imitator.

next up is kvk900 with the much sought after track house music. a 14 minute long mesmerising house journey that s already been included in ryan elliotts panorama bar 06 mix. on the b-side you ll find the glitch. a psyched out tech-bomb stuck in the karlovak machine.

the next release on the invariants contains three edits of tracks from the deep. the a side contains a chicago leaning version of middle eastern esotherics and a more techno dub version of the same track. on the flip are black metal synths combined with 90s strings in a live jam recorded slightly in the red. comes with two locked grooves to serve as a vessel for drumless tracks

veteran nyc synth master gavin russom joins l.i.e.s. with an outstanding three track ep. ... epic, tense, and driving russom goes for the throat crafting beautifully produced functional club tracks that teeter on the edge of the deepest psychedelic realm. with hints of many different electronic strains creeping into his productions, we get the full specturm and see this talented producer doing some of his best work in recent times, the hidden gem being the b-side s closing track, the telstar file.

12 releases strong already, a:rpia:r has been silent for the last 2 years, since petre inspirescu’s gradina onirica hit the shelves of your favourite record shop. it is now raresh’s turn to release something special and indeed he did. vivaltu is an old gem, a subtle uplifting track driven by a powerful resonator, perfect for that “special moment”. the male mumbling voices provide the track with that extra eclectic feel. this is in fact raresh’s only track on vivaltu ep, the rest are remixes. side b presents a minimal house interpretation remix by none other than chilean legend and friend, ricardo villalobos. the resonator is still here but in come some childish voices to make it all perfect. perfect for the dancefloor. side c brings forward another member of the a:rpia:r family, none other than contemporary wizard petre inspirescu. his take has a very cinematic approach, building and building for 4 minutes before the kick even starts. the rich percussive atmosphere is completed with a brilliant melody reminiscent of his classical experiments. this track is an absolute masterpiece ! aloe varu is the third chosen for this remix pack and indeed he was chosen wise. his stripped down remix spans for 13 minutes and completes the story of a:rpia:r 13.

the sophomore late night running release features a jazzy theme by aakmael and a more machine driven rework by appian on the a side. for the b-side the label has tracks by man of the moment anaxander and a tightly produced edit by michael zucker.

dense & pikas kneaded pains label arrives kicking and screaming into 2015 with another raw n raucous ep, this time from blake stone. deftone sets the scene nicely with a nice slab of heads down warehouse techno, good 2 me uses a well known sample for an altogether more sunnier track whilst flipsides cruel tone tightens up the beats for a very modern sounding slice of peak time action whilst affected once again delves in the darker side of things with a low-down dirty stomper.

vinyl only! killax is back again! this time with a strong various artists on vinyl only. straight from detroit usa, mr. gari romalis made a dancefloor killa track called move me. roller party made by the italian talent giovanni damico will take you back at the golden age with its funky mood. on the b side the killax bosses are back with 2 strong house tracks: pulse made by noego is a mix of heavy raw drums and hypnotic samples, meanwhile, disco disko made by kid mark will make you dance with its cool vocal samples and old school flavor.

both the dub version and the listen up vox mix of give you some rest on the a-side. opening with percussion, the impending rhythmic baseline quickly grabs our attention. darius throws us some vocal sampling in the vox mix, creating an outstanding raw and iconic house vibe. flipping it over, we find drop your gimmicks on the b-side. this one is a bit more serious and bit less bouncy. with a deeper bass line that tells you what time it is, and the percussion to keep your feet shuffling, the track is, as darius put s it true house music .

the second mörk release finally gets out of the blocks, helmed by italian analogue explorer raw m.t. with some seriously heavy cuts under his belt, we coaxed him out of hiding for a varied 12- of low-slung house, dreamy beachside dreams and hammering arpeggiated techno, cut deep and heavy over two sides of wax. la duna is a deep 4am roller. murky and shrouded in analogue warmth, it steadily aches and strains through passages of pad filled delirium whilst the percussive echoes of lost nights swirl and clatter. untitled is a beachside dreamy acid number. steady slow grooves undulate under tender vocals with slowly yearning pads and deep acid bringing the light out of the darkness. flipping over to the b-side, strike ups the ante with some seriously driving war-game techno, drenching in arpeggiated madness and washed over with frenetic acid lines.
