domenico writes and co-writes all the songs, sings, plays guitar and designs the rhythmically adventurous soundscapes heard on cine prive. with the help of old (pedro sa, alberto continentino, moreno veloso, kassin, and adriana calcanhotto) and newer (money mark, darin gray & glenn kotche of duo on fillmore) friends and musical collaborators the songs were recorded live in the studio with most tracks calling on no more than three musicians at a time.

the third ep on visky recordings is brought to you by a fresh and talented upcoming producer, dj and music lover hailing from grodno in belarus. schmoltz has had a long-term affair with music which got him to collecting records and fiddling with music making software and hardware. growing up as a metalhead kid, he came the disco route and later to be mesmerized by the soulful powerful funky and electric sounds of donna summer, gloria gaynor, stars on 45 and whatever else was to be found in the piles of soviet melodiya records. schmoltz delivered three great jazzy, deep & soulful tracks for his debut 12 inch on czech based visky recordings. on top of that the b side offers a remix from ferrispark label head scott ferguson. scott gave to raindrops a totally different feel and energy in a way of his own.

during a time when its more fashionable then ever to sample kenny dixon, >alright< uses a small and respectable vocal splice that references ferguson himself, marvin belton, & ferrispark records. heavy bass and beats eventually mutate into a smooth late-night house jam. side b laced with chatter, cheers, and claps resonates a >block party< feeling accompanied by chords, strings, sub-bass, and disco loops. enjoy! party people
