delsin freut sich, eine umfangreiche compilation-reihe anzukündigen, die den katalog des wegweisenden niederländischen techno-labels djax-up-beats durchkämmt. die von rush hour-mitbegründer christiaan macdonald kuratierte reihe startet mit einem rückblick auf das vermächtnis des labels in der entwicklung der acid-musik in den 90er jahren. insgesamt umfasst dieser erste teil der djax-up-beats-reihe 1990–2005 20 tracks, die als dreiteiliges vinyl-album plus zwei zusätzliche 12--eps präsentiert werden. die compilation enthält außerdem brandneue illustrationen von alan oldham, dem in detroit ansässigen bildenden künstler, der djax-up-beats schon sehr früh eine unverwechselbare visuelle identität verlieh, sowie ein design von lost communication.
