in recent years moire&#769,, has become an integral figure in re-imagining club music. the enigmatic artist has travelled a note-perfect path and in just a few years has collaborated with fundamental record labels such as r&s, werk discs and rush hour.

if you missed ep vol. 1 dont get caught without vol. 2. the return of chapter two recordings next vinyl ep release is sure to be a smash. this time around santonio, moire patterns and orlando voorn have teamed up to produce the vol. 2 ep. these producers need no introduction featuring sounds of deep house to techno. this quality release will feature four banging tracks. two of them are written and produced by moire patterns entitled ninties 2 love, and hear no evil. orlando voorn has written and produced the track let it go, and santonio echols produced the other track titled detroit brass. this vinyl ep will be available for purchase next month.

when moiré decided to call his second album no future, he wasn’t trying to make a political statement so much as state the obvious: if humanity keeps heading down the hateful path outlined by certain right-wing political figures and recent political events, we might as well hit the nearest self-destruct button.

knuggles recordings is very delighted to present moire patterns second essential play ep. the title track * get it thru* puts you right in the middle of a pumping house party. this grabbing and powerful long-playing tool with afro kick grooves and haunting vocal licks will keep your bottoms up! look out! it can knock a hole in your wall. on the flip side moire patterns is featuring special edits of tracks by two original artists: jaone and bratacas. led by a tambourine, the constantly modulating pattern of “taxanetsi brothers” drives you into a more platonic dimension of classical and balkan music. disco fashion! bratacas 029 has been selected from the diverse works of bratacas. its an elegant ambient electro-acoustic piece that makes us reminisce about the uk dnb scene of the late 90ties. or is it detroit?

der titel *shelter* beschreibt die wahrnehmung und anschließende emotionale resonanz auf eine sammlung von klängen und motiven. lieferten moirés bisherige veröffentlichungen bereits fragmente dieses gesamtkonzepts, stellt *shelter* diese vision in gänze vor. die verschmelzung von motiven früherer arbeiten und neuer produktionen komplettiert die idee und zeigt moiré außerhalb gewöhnlicher muster experimentierend. das ergebnis ist unerwartet, roh und dynamisch und spornt dazu an, sich musikalisch und physisch auf die erfahrung einzulassen. *shelter* schafft eine parallele situation zwischen dem künstler, der die grenzen seines mediums erkundet, und dem zuhörer, der das gehörte individuell interpretiert. man folgt der einladung gerne, sich in den persönlichen und ehrlichen klangmustern von moiré fallen zu lassen.

nach der -never sleep- ep auf werkdiscs und folgt nun moirés zweiter streich auf dem kultigen actress label. -bboy 202 / false- featuret insgesamt drei tracks, die sich musikalisch zwischen old schooligem chicago acid, techno und electronica bewegen. der geheimnisvolle produzent war mit seinen beiden 12-es auf werkdiscs und rush hour (-rolx-) einer der spannendsten acts des jahres 2013. moiré kreiert eine ganz eigene, unverwechselbare soundästhetik und musikalische sichtweise, die er auch mit seinem exzellenten mix für das fact mag unter beweis stellen konnte.

after his debut 12inch on werkdiscs comes moires new 3 track 12inch on rush hour. in february, ears were picked by the debut release from moire, a mysterious producer hiding behind hypnotic visuals and a well-groomed cloak of anonymity. now hes ready to show his hand further with this second release, a three-track ep of what he proudly calls london techno.

the second release by berlin based knuggles recordings will be coming out in december. it features the previously unreleased original 12inch mix of 7107 music by netto houz. this hybrid of chicago deep house and oldschool electro caused some dancefloor action back in 1998, when it was originally released on ladomat 2000. on the flipside, knuggles recordings presents a new exciting producer: dj nikolaos aka moire patterns spins his track the roots anthems 001 (co-produced by dj kriton) into a modern and spherical growing deep house bomb. enjoy!
