a welcome return to the label for blocks and escher, and an opportunity for them to pick two of their favourite artists to reinterpret their music.
paradox and om unit both deliver sublime remixes in their own individual inimitable styles while retaining the beauty and emotion of ‘broken’.

usually found in partnership with blocks on their own narratives imprint, here we find escher flying solo with two beautifully contrasting compositions. deep architecture has already been causing a big stir online due to its wild time signature and off-beat percussive patterns. physically its drum & bass, but mentally its most definitely techno as it pummels with loopy drum insistency. spirit bounce, meanwhile, is a stark and breezy stepper that oozes space and shimmers with emotive synths. its a simple but soulful synthesis many have attempted over the year but only few have mastered... klute, marcus intalex and now escher, too. the return of 31 has been one of d&bs best stories so far this year.

(modica produced records with people like james murphy, whomadewho, peaches, daniel avery, the rammellzee - jrbb is a german 15 person big band that combines jazz with electronica. additional beat production by coeo (toy tonics). on this ep is a rework from jrbb friends brandt brauer frick included.

deluxe-reissue des electronica-klassikers -neo ouija- (1998) des britischen produzenten lee anthony jude norris aka metamatics (norken, nacht plank) auf klarem vinyl mit aktualisiertem artwork des original-grafikers chris thompson. norris -stimulierte lieber synapsen als dancefloors zu zerstören- (o-ton), stand bereits vor 20 jahren brian eno, gary numan und depeche mode näher als seinen zeitgenössischen kollegen und hatte einen massgeblichen einfluss auf andere künstler wie radiohead und laurent garnier.
