glueped is the collaborative alias of mihai mihalcea and cristi tudorache, better known as teluric and melodie. already having released with their solo projects on some of the scenes most distinguished imprints, they have joined creative forces once again to put together an ep for vade mecum, an already familiar output for teluric. the result will set you sailing in shifty winds - going from nostalgic to ecstatic, from mystery to comfort and warmth, without losing touch with the dancefloor.

for our fourth release we carefully selected tracks by two talented newcomers from romania. you already know melodie from rora10, joined on this one by another promising artist from bucharests techno scene - teluric. this is not your average split ep, but rather more of a collaboration between these two guys. the a side features two tracks under their individual guises, while the b-side showcases their collaborative effort, glueped, the fruit of years of friendship and working together. >glues from the toolbox< is a complete package and its meant to guide you through different moods and states of mind. 180g vinyl only. blue white marbled.

melodie is cristi tudorache from bucharest, an artist who has made quite a name for himself through the 2 highly acclaimed releases on raresh s metereze and french label rora in 2015. this is his latest ep, alderaan, named after an extinct planet in star wars. alma01 includes the much sought-after acid saturday, the track that has had threads dedicated to it all over the web after rpr soundsystem played it at weather festival in 2015. the ep debuts the almanah label, a new romanian label under the curatorship of the origami sound / interval crew.

wilde calm records is honoured to present the final project with the late elodie lauten, a new version of the spiritual club classic in the light of the miracle. the original version was co-written by fellow downtown luminary arthur russell in the early 1980s and appeared on his posthumous 1994 album another thought. numerous club friendly remixes of in the light. were released as promotional white labels in the 1990s and helped bring this amazing proto-house song to the dance floor.

taking a few steps off it’s usual housy path, metereze presents a fresh new face and a more techno approach to dance music. it is melodie that signs the 4th installment and he is taking it deep into the realms of acid with 3 tracks that not only go well together but they are all meant to make you move in a big way.
acid sunday is as acidic as the name suggests it but in the end it’s the most poetic of the 3. the subtle pads are kinda dreamy but the 303 sounds make it super driving. on the same side we have rhythmico which is dark, percussive and powerful. subtle background bleeps complete the wandering synth that comes and goes but never really seems to go away.
housed on side b justa is a techno monster in its own right. sonically very close to the other two, this is by far the darkest track on this ep. and probably the strongest. techno infused house you may call it or whatever, this is the kind of track that puts you on a serious move whenever, wherever.

with huge, driving bass lines, captivating melodic elements, funky tech grooves, and organic rhythms, tylers new school technique lends an innovative character to the edm scene !! on the flip we are graced with a rare mix from astro & glide, who take the track down a cooler electro-ish route

a1 fur elodie is a cheapy guitar tune combined with the piano to form acoustic sound. other elements are also quite cheapy but sounds very good altogether as a confortable track. a very atmospheric tune to hypnotize people into fumiyas deeper side. the original version is on his album unknown 3 released in 2008. b1 ring bell is a track combined an acoustic loopy drum with a modular bass sound to form a kind of rare groove. a kind of chant starts coming in out at certain points to take you somewhere you have never been before. b2 dealer trick (short version) has got a kind of old school flavour and sounds quite like 90s house with fumiyas dirty, cheeky, and loopy groove. a trick for jack in the box
