istanbul-based live techno duo hiccup returns with a new 12’’ ep on their record label avosync. as the label s 15th release, outlandish is accompanied by two robust remixes from vsk and lag. made by the love for old fashioned techno music mixed with the soul of the current era, the ep also includes two digital-only giveaways, with one featuring a children’s poem by maya angelou (read by her) in addition to the five tracks on the vinyl, serving out a discourse on the outlander s matter.

ian tocor is a smiling ambiance man, into ambient ,deep, dub and techno, half of outlander wax theory and drnchd bands, he signed his first vinyl on the american label love what you feel in 2014. played by fred p, this ep oscillates between a dub house in lace and a deep and colorful deep house. it has been found on the first compilation of simple music experience with a dreamlike journey called -blue- or on label vastechoses, the latest project built with his friends sevyce and lostsoundbytes, adventurous music, intrepid grooves and editions of all kinds are on this platform with evocative name.in short, music is for ian an outlet, deeply anxious to provoke in various forms links between moving bodies, his dj sets are as rough and strong as they are surrounded by sensitivity.

de:tuned was founded in 2009 by ruben boons and bert hermans. the pair first organised a series of old school techno parties in antwerp (belgium) before launching the record label in 2012. to celebrate 5 years de:tuned they now turn out a very special 5lp album featuring 21 tracks from some of the most respected names in the game. the album has its roots firmly in early/mid 90s techno and electronica, a style which de:tuned has always presented, and spans some 20 years of electronic music.
