elysium (a.k.a. burning skies of elysium seit 1985) gründeten sich im herbst 1981 in horley, surrey (uk). ihre erste veröffentlichung war die 4-track-kassetten-ep amongst those clouds von 1983. sie enthielt ihre ersten beiden songs, die im märz 1982 in rendezvous, john ratcliffs studio im süden londons, aufgenommen wurden, zusammen mit zwei weiteren songs, die im januar oder februar 1983 in den ambiance recording studios in burgess hill aufgenommen wurden. später gesellte sich der saxophonist ron howe hinzu. ihre erste vinyl-veröffentlichung kam im september 1984, die summer house b/w through flak & flak 7-, wieder in den ambiance recording studios aufgenommen. ein song aus diesen sessions mit dem titel emporium blieb absolut ungehört und vergessen. bis jetzt.

nie war das reinigen ihrer schallplattennadel einfacher! ein kurzes aufsetzen der nadel auf dem adhäsiven reinigungsgelpad nrg30 reicht und ihre nadel wird absolut schonend von anhaftungen wie staub oder sonstigem schmutz befreit. die oben auf der verpackung des nrg30 befindliche, spiegelnde oberfläche erlaubt zudem die leichte Überprüfung auf verschmutzungen des systems. das gelpad auf silikonbasis kann nach der nutzung mit kaltem wasser abgewaschen und so von den aufgenommenen verschmutzungen befreit werden. danach einfach ohne abzuwischen an der luft trocknen lassen. durchmesser gelpad ca. 35mm.

artist susana estrada was one of the leading figures of the “destape” during the late 70s and early 80s, a period in spain when sexual openness and freedom of thought exploded just when the country was coming out of a dictatorship. . besides acting in lot of movies and musical plays, susana as a singer also released a few 45s, cassettes and one lp, “amor y libertad”, produced by the great josep llobell, which is now regarded as a cosmic disco classic. from that album, cosmic record store selected two tracks for side a of this 12”, “gózame ya” and “quítate el sostén”. for the b side, the label has included three edits in a nu-disco & cosmic vein by producers james rod, javi frías and mr. absolut aka sergio peña.
