benjamin vigneron, also known as vronsky, was born in 1991 in aix-en-provence, france. as a teenager, drawn simultaneously to visual arts, cinema and music production, he made his first contact with techno by working for a local club as a graphic designer. during his 20s, while living between montreal, canada and marseille, france, it was revealed to benjamin he suffered from a heavy bipolar disorder. as a reaction, he started losing himself in free parties and increasingly dangerous habits. gradually learning to love himself despite his flaws, he kicked his risk-taking after he realized the love of music prevailed over anything else. equipped with a strong desire to share his vision despite not being able to perform as a dj, benjamin started a youtube channel and a collective named listening blue.

this album finds an alternative, conveying a global positive mood and dancefloor energy. it is an experiment that combines organic sounds with electronic music and features many brazilian jazz and samba musicians, such as the 60 years-old samba-rock legend marku ribas on the track cosmic man, and the wellrespected trombone player bocato, in an unexpected samba-jazz version of pontape. techno producer and long-lasting friend technasia also collaborated closely with renato at the different stages of the production of the album, including mixing and mastering.

the first one comes from the acknowledged german artist johannes volk (exploration), who re-creates a dub version of the original track. the second remix comes from the rising scene of paris and zadig (construct re-form/ sino), who evolves the track into a groovy and deep experience. last but not least, the remix of irish technohead lee holman (kawl) introduces a darker approach, setting a minimal atmosphere with a unique vocal.

tronic continues its roll out of summer bombs with the >origin / freed< two-tracker from dosem, an artist who has previously made a name for himself with sterling output for technasia sub-label sino. >origin< is the first of the two tracks and it opens proceedings with an epic, synth heavy vibe. filtered, impeccably programmed drums gently unfurl into a persistently padding groove that kicks on a big system. as the track opens up to drop, metallic synth chords shimmer out of the groove and deliver a massive punch. the intensity grows continually throughout and the melodies are pushed to their maximum, making this an unashamed anthem. the flipsides >freed<, while more heads down than its counterpart, is certainly no shrinking violet. driving drums are topped with long, building vocal screams and rising synths create a feverish atmosphere that, added to a pulsing and brutish bassline, goes off.
