russian producer valya kan debuts on spencer parkers work them records with a four track sampler from her subterranean album dust and haze . leave opens up the sampler with tantalising synths and dubby effects before you re lead into ‘promises featuring valya kan s voice, uttering the track title whilst syncopated percussion and ghostly atmospherics work their magic. flip it over and you re hit with the whirring sci-fi elements and rattling samples in smoke in the cockpit. rounding off the sampler acid hotel is a more up-tempo, demonstrating rolling arpeggios and snappy snares.
