for the projects 5th release we welcome russian artist toki fuko. the label continues to source deeper soundscapes and toki delivers a hypnotic collection of deep techno grooves with rhythmic sequencing where he absorbs inspiration from the world that surrounds him. over the years he has worked with musicians such as joaschim spieth, estroe, hernan catanneo, wareika, brendon moeller, and published on incredible labels such as affin, star dub, rosedale and slowdance. elliot project is proud to showcase this 3 track ep which illustrates the incredible talent of toki fuko and tagir who provides a special edit for sept .

the first one released his first praised ep (12 ) in 2015 on mutewax. it expresses and develops a techno with berlin’s accents and dark influences, hypnotic and industrial. the melodies are entrancing and give another dimension to his music.
nicolas belligoli alias mtd is one of the founders of the label sonntag morgen. he expresses and develops a techno / dub with dark, melancholic and industrial influences. his melodies are sharp and give a new and powerful rhythm. he was noted for the quality of his release (affin record, abstract animal, arts digital...) especially for his work on nachtstrom schallplatten in 2015 (“substances & perceptions” double lp).

nightime drama is proud to present a 3 track ep from yoshihiro arikawa, featuring a remix by aubrey. the tokyo based producer yoshihiro arikawa is known for a compound of minimal and 90 s ghetto house, releasing a series of critically heralded eps on logistic in france, kb and his own label kodaira tracks under his alias d kawa between 2003 and 2009. after a short hiatus, arikawa restarted the activities under his real name and has revealed a new aspect of his music on a number of releases from international labels such as affin, hypnotic room, labyrinth, m_grey, toffler sound and swap. his first release on nightime drama comes with a remix from aubrey who is no stranger to any techno lover’s ears. with over 25 years in the industry, he has been involved with some of the biggest names in the business and brings a funky energetic remix to the release.

with a firm nod to the community, revered techno aficionado, roberto reveals the launch of his new record label, fossil archive and its first release *prolecanites gurleyi*. roberto has already built quite the discography with previous releases on fachwerk, affin, artform and be as one, as well as establishing himself as a dj with gigs at the likes of fabric, berghain and tresor and recently took time out from his busy schedule to talk to marcus barnes for the independents blog.

defaultbox strikes again. the black cube ep by patrick brøsin is armed with four substantial techno tracks including one remix. this time we could inspire tresor resident krenzlin and diego hostettler the head of belief system records. the collaboration between them is probably unknown for most of the people, but releases on nachtstrom schallplatten or affin ltd by krenzlin as well as on kanzleramt or u-turn by diego hostettler speak for themselves.

three formidable names from the electronic deep/techno scene combine on this sumptuous new ep for the burgeoning jesus was black imprint. in various combinations, maris, egal 3 and philipp ort have previously collaborated on labels like kdmusic, cadenza, wrongstate, affin, flappers, baccara, edec.. their first joint effort in some time yields some superb results.

epi centrum is jurek przezdziecki, who you may be familiar with thanks to his numerous releases on labels like cocoon, affin and synewave. known for always pushing sonic boundaries, as well as seeking new sources of inspiration, he is undoubtedly one of those artists who does anything but tow the line. raw, organic electronics, mixed with precision in execution are at the very heart of jureks output and his work has thus far received praise from the likes of depeche mode, laurent garnier, sven väth and damon wild.

chris page is a rising talent within the london techno scene. we are very happy to have him on micro.fon with this 12inch ep. 3 techno tracks of its own kind. raw, dark, groovy and minimal. chris has several strong releases under his belt, featuring heavily on labels such as affin

once again mutex deliver a killer release with fresh and unique soundscapes! this time deep but pumping techno cuts are supplied by egor boss who has been noticed on labels like affin or mindtrip music. new age techno heroes thomas hessler and idealist complement the release with their exclusive touches.

bcr v02 is the second vinyl release by bcr. this time its ad.lib (bcr, gynoid, affin) who produced the original and the remixes are done by rebekah (clr), joseph mcgeechan (bcr, prosthetic pressings) und monya (bcr, if?). she lost control is track title and announcement at the same time here. all of the four versions have this certain raw and uncompromising sound. they all work with the topic of loosing control on different levels. the very personal interpretations of the four artists share a hypnotic and alienating atmosphere. the prominent synth blips reminds of stroboskopic lights and excessive nights.

roberto finally debuts on be as one after having recently joined the label booking agency and main core, and he does it with style. for those that have been keeping an ear on the uk techno sound roberto should not be a new name by now, having released a series of well received eps on artform and affin, and being a resident at londons legendary fabric club.

vibe003 remixes ep was born when the magic voice of michael franti, famous american singer, met the club-vibes of these guys.... that had retouched the single >theres enough for all of us<. from the elegant techno of deepchild (trapez, affin), to the deep dry-groove of butane (crosstown, alphahouse, rrygular), we are pushing on the wall by the man-of-the-moment in spain, marcos in dub (goa, highgrade, monofunk)... where funny techno and warm ambient make you dance smiling. this remixes ep is closed by an old-school house remix ofmussen, where the 909 and 808 sound is all you need...

after the fittingly excellent 30th release from markatonio, analytic trail waste no time in delivering their next release, this time coming from scottish producer hans bouffmyhre. the paisley based artist has graced perc trax, harthouse and jochim speiths affin with his releases in the past and his production continues to garner support from a wide and revered array of djs. someone im not boldly kicks off the ep with a dark but grooved-out edge which will please fans of his previous work for perc trax wintery, late night and uncompromising techno. bermuda tool follows and pushes further into the darker territories of techno with a lazy pace providing counterpoint to a tapestry of moody effects. self punishment ramps up the energy but keeps the sinister, mechanical vibes of its counterparts while final cut planet deception closes proceedings with a drum focused workout with some killer yet simple snare work.
