>get on up< was dj rush s biggest stike so far. with remixes of the best techno producers like eric sneo, thomas p. heckmann, chris liebing and rob acid, t:classixx pushed the track in the clubbers heart. back in the days sven wittekind and robert natus take the tune to other level. on the a side you will find the sven wittekind remix. whose interpretation is a hard, rugged one that seems to be coming alive the longer it lasts. vocal stabs, an enormous dose of hi-hat action and noisy twisters make this one very useful being played at the bigger venues. robert natus is responsible for the second mix of the track on the flipside. the german-based producer delivers a remix in his so characteristic style, as can also be heard on his releases through labels such as systemcalls, planet natus, abstract or bitshift music..

if there would be an award for the most well-known brand in the techno scene you would find isiah major aka dj rush ahead. born and raised in chicago, the legendary mecca of the disco and house culture in the 1970ies and 80ies, rush left the windy city soon to conquer europe s techno- and house scene. since his legendary club anthem >motherfucking bass< that became a consensus hit worldwide, one of these all time classics that are exciting dancers always and everywhere, one cant imagine the techno scene without him

this 12inch is to preceed their first mix cd release and features three tracks. mocky's 'soul control' was his first release on zephons mom in 1999. this uptempo jazz track is long deleted and sees a welcome repress on vinyl. jneiro jarel's 'get yuh own' was featured on his debut album release on kindred spirits and gets its first 12inch pressing here. on the b-side we find an exclusive aardvarck track, another percussive broken techno workout for the floor
