following induction’s liturgical hymns remixes ep, ravage is proud to announce the next release on their white series. it’s a various artists release, containing tracks produced by artists who are very close to the label. hence, it’s title: familiar affairs.

for the second release on their black series, ravage invited electronic music veterans al matthews and patrick walker to team up under their forward strategy group moniker. the last release of these legends was quite a few years ago, but the wait was worth it. their east port rangers ep kicks-off with nine and one, a hypnotic, heavy-loaded stomper containing some uplifting, loopy vocals. following is the most minimalistic track of the ep, lisp your way, yet it still has a lot of substantial punch and lash to it. the b-side starts off with heavy broken beats, combined with a classic rave sound, taking the listener back to the blistering sound of the nineties. finally, the ep oozes down with the track in abeyance, a haunting, down-tempo track with a melody to send shivers down your spine, which could be deemed a real creeper.

coming straight off the back of a melodic and exhilarating release from induction, fledgling dutch imprint and management house ravage are proud to announce the first ep release in their new black series. focusing on the darker and unchartered spaces of techno music, the black series kicks off firstwith fellow dutchman and upfront upstart s.a.f with the hunter ep.

filling the night with scars, the new release by our mainstay g&#322,ós marks the second installment on the ravage white series label. at the core of this release, g&#322,ós seems to build bridges between his ambient side on one hand and his thumping club music side on the other hand. especially the a-side covers the clubbier rhythmic vibe whilst the b-side conveys the more emotional vibe. like in the title track, he builds slowly and smoothly but he stays very precise in which acidic sounds come and fade. with this release, he finds a balance between the nostalgic anthem-like euphoria and a more darker and deeper narrative.

ravage are happy to announce that rising dutch talent, daniel te boekhorst aka induction, will take centre stage as the first artist to release on the label with liturgical hymns, the first in our ravage white series. surrounded by music in his youth and having learned piano at an early age, inductions play things were eventually set aside and replaced by his fathers analogue hardware and synthesizers. it was in the blood. his sound? a heady concoction of electronica that ranges from deep, melodic and groovy to more urgent and harder realms. a fresh face and name for the scene but one that is destined for great things, all starting right here with rws001 - liturgical hymns.

the ravage continues with demolition 10, the vinyl sampler! including a broad range of hardcore tracks by promo, d passion and n vitral. following up on the great impression of the tablet promo continues his story telling vibe with a brand new track. the b side contains tracks by two artists which are definitely carved out of the hardest of ttm wood. self made is a perfect example of the typical hardcore sound by d passion. recognizable and at all times party minded! the darkest experiments from this collection of demolition beats come from n vitral and his defliction production, complicated at first but ever so driving in a hard industrial tech kind of way.
