INFO

Ravage is proud to present the Hyperborean Land EP by the upcoming French duo As Patria. This release marks the third instalment in their White Series label. The A1 and B1 contain two sensitive and mesmerizing productions, portraying the distinctive As Patria sound. The A2 and B2 consist of two mind-bending versions, presented by French wave producer In Aeternam Vale. These versions are quite similar, but are both a piece of art in their own way.

About the label...

Ravage is an Amsterdam based record label, booking agency and event organisation. The label portrays a wide array of different styles within the techno/experimental electronic music realm. The label is split up in Ravage White Series (RWS) and Ravage Black Series (RBS). The White Series has a clean, melodic and modern touch to it. While the Black Series has a darker, more experimental and industrial feel.

The label came to life when the guys behind Ravage (Matthijs Botter & Stefan van der Veen) had hosted some successful events in their hometown. Both of them were looking for a way to further express their musical visions. Constantly being around

local talent got them thinking heavily. They decided that to start putting out records as a way of expressing their visions. Furthermore, there was the possibility of starting a booking agency. It wasn’t soon after that the first Ravage White Series record came out, produced by local talent Induction, followed by a release by the Berlin based artist Glós. This is exactly what you can expect from the Ravage White Series: a right balance between local talent and experienced producers, bringing you a fresh array of meticulously curated modern-day electronic music.

Ravage is currently a limited, vinyl-only outlet, but has got plans for a digital, DJ tool focussed spin-off. Right now, there are a few RBS’s and RWS’s planned, and the search for renowned as well as new talent is an on going process at Ravage.
