uncle o is someone we have an unlimited respect for, here at im a clich. a restless record digger with an insane record collection, a resident dj at the mythical bains douches club in paris at its golden era (82-85), a graphic designer for james white, omd, the cure, a certain ratio as they were touring in france, and later part of the emerging french hip hop scene (he even appeared on vocals on the seminal french hit h.i.p h.o.p, french people will know what it s about!). he produced occasionnal instrumentals for french hip hop bands like assassin, released a few cult records as jackos and organised some of the best parties in paris, the toxic nights.

last summer, the berlin-based producer and well-known remixer chris zippel (who already worked with the pet shop boys, robbie williams or ich & ich) already celebrated his very personal interpretation of modern and complex ambient between zwischen triphop beats and melancholic pop references by his genuine horizon album. with this ep, chillout producer zippel has chosen a way quite unusual for him by taking four tracks of the album, making them compatible for the dancefloor with a number of co-producers and proving that dub is still up-to-date in 2008. the ep starts with an interpretaton of electronic spain recordings producer mangelt: again, a straightforward energy flash between reminiscence and modern club sound, takes on the powerful post acid minimalhouse sound a la steve bug. the dane mike salta turns mirror dawn into deep techhouse dub, and also the schwerin-based downtempo producer andre muelle alias vakuum sounds shows that he is influenced by a timelessly valid unterstanding of dub and fragmented s mples by his version of glacier. finally, the tribal progressive house dub of blade remixed by kling klong impresario namito (berlin), undoubtedly the most famous remixer on this ep, goes right into your hips

next summer hit! one of bob sinclars secret weapon at this years miami conference. fedo mora started djing in 1994 in clubs on the beautiful costa smeralda in sardinia. fedo is a producer and a remixer working with the biggest italian labels since 1998 his main projects are f.e.d.o., sergio del rio, 4fx, freaks jam, pussy dub foundation and he has remixed todd terry, dennis ferrer, bob sinclar, julien jabre, richard f and many others... camurri has been a professional dj since 2002, he is the resident dj at the moxa club in italy. in 2008, he teams up with fedo mora and together they produce fedo mora & camurri - after the rain featuring warm reggae style vocals by patrick.

after their mega club hit de janeiro r.i.o is back with a new reggae influenced tune called shine on, perfect summer tune, which is coming along with a brandnew spencer & hill remix. allready supported by all big djs around the world.
