MULTIPLE PARTITIONEN THREE
12 Inch
24.01.06
the third release from nachtfrequent brings us four new fresh tracks from leo cubanero. two of them – play and english mafia – were layed down in co-operation with patrick di stefano(generalelektrik). the first tune is a very clubby track sporting some eccentric dodgy sounds. minimal oppressive but easily triggerin your dancing feet at the same time. the following play plays slower but has however a very funky touch with mad pitched vocals and the jostling basslines. rigth here and anywhere else this track is a burner. funky fat sounds and vocals which seem to come out directly of the lunatic asylum. and finally english mafia which weaves in the garb of minimal house a very nice carpet with memorable elektroid sounds. fine pads - not one gram too much
CELULA EP
12 Inch
18.01.06
this is a 3 tracker produced by jose rodriguez and is truly classy. the a side has a crisp bassline driven groove with various cutting sound fx and edits and has a very cutting groove. the flip side has a similar theme but with tearing synth edits and has a more minimal percussive feel
THE SMACKMAN E.P.
12 Inch
17.01.06
there could be no better start into 2006 than a brand new steve bug single. with >smackman< on the a-side poker flat label boss steve bug delivers another hip shaking track handwritten in his unmistakeable but fresh style. >i-thought< on the -side starts with a clever beat-construction and a great bassline before some smart sound-gimmicks lead over to the first break. still minimal, but with an incredible groove and great melodies both tracks are sure to leave lots of nice damage on the dancefloor
next in line of finger lickin monsters is from none other than the mighty plump djs. taken from their critically acclaimed album >saturday night lotion< is the enormously funky dr dub which contains elements of the thomson twins s 80s anthem doctor doctor. poptastic or what! on the flip is the highly sought-after but until now elusive blackjack
SAMPLE PLEASURES PART 1
12 Inch
12.01.06
the popular peoples front continue their sonic manifesto, combining samples in a classics style with 21st century tools, to craft another selection of heavyweight retro grooves and modern basement workouts.. focusing on less well known, but no less legendary tracks from the last days of disco, early boogie workouts, hip hop and stripped back modern jams, re-translating them into dancefloor smashing sample collages !!
SOUL POWER
12 Inch
30.12.05
the original version of this is euphoric techno with classic detroit strings and a nagging spoken vocal, but mike mondays remixes are pure hands in the air peaktime techhouse. the playtime boss provides two stellar reworks: a sublime, string-drenched acid builder complete with vintage piano breakdown, and a piano-less dub for those darker, heads-down moments. drop the sans piano remix at the right time, and carnage will most definitely ensue
FALLEN / TAIPAN

san diego based terry mullan takes the bull by the horns as these days he is adding his own music to the record box he tours and turns parties out with. working up a smoking hot catalyst release, mullan falls back on his collection of top shelf tunes and brings forth a release that style wise is similar to the old school dj international mega - mix records done by legends bad boy bill, julian jumpin perez and mix masters. this record alone is like a terry mullan, front and center on the one's and but actually listen to time and time again on their own

CALIGULA / MARATHON MAN
12 Inch
15.12.05
two enigmatic and timeless tracks carving the thin line between minimal electro house and neo techno in the vain of m. jonson or john tejada. but that was definitely not the first time you heard of the fabulous mr. bodzin cause he has been producing tracks with artists like thomas schumacher or electrochemie .caligula, dedicated to the super cult classic horror movie, is a hot piece of rather atmospheric and driving peak time butter, with an energetic synth-lick, that will heat up every club in a minute! marathon manis nothing but a true builder! smooth bass arps and pumping beats float into dancefloor madness and back again. essential music
BAD BIT EP
12 Inch
13.12.05
the new einmaleins (onetimesone) collektion kicks you with 3 tracks from rahmi cihan , frank martiniq and der schmeisser.these tunes are full of wicked breaks crazy vocals and earth shattering basslines . the sound of this ep is definitiv very underground but in the same way timeless and very unique. der schmeisser and his production crew try to break the rules and create a new style of electronic dance music we call it wildropso get out of your seat and jump around! jesse rose (frontroom rec.): #11 of november charts. is it house? is it minimal?, who cares, it does the business., magda: amazing record! i will play it - the grooves wear out - sounds like old dbx
SOME KIND OF...
12 Inch
13.12.05
a diverse, old schoolish yet modern techno record. a killer record we think! the a-side offers the club groover “first one” and the beautiful deep detroitish heitere gemüter . the b-side offers a re-relase: erfolgsgeblubber was released on morris audio citysport a year ago, but has been getting superb feedback (e.g. steve bug: thisis huge! ) and we just love this early warp styled bleeper! finishing off this well rounded ep, shaka comes up with some great jazzy electronic trickery called phalonmukka . great stuff for openminded freaks, and well worth checkin shaka s upcoming stuff on revolver and his remix of pan/tone s gringo grinder

POINT OF FAINTING
12 Inch
07.12.05
new wonder boy out of munich with an unbelievable 2 tracker, which reminds us a bit of the very best work of isole! mind you, that guy is just 17 years old and finishing school next year. but as professional as an highly experienced producer, with fresh crispy sounds and an unique driving arrangement. 'point of fainting' is actually a true story about a stranger calling up and whispering 'you gotta help us!' û scary thoughààbut with that great music on top just a genius and a break you will be quite irritated as a dj!
>effective< on the a-side is one of those tracks with a very special groove. simple, but strongly effective. dry twittering sounds on top, keep with the clicks and all is well. the b-side >been in glue<, is another 100% sureshot. you can hear the classic traffic signs sounds from the release. it is this very unique formula, the mixture of jackin beats, dry bass and short melodies what makes you groove on and on and on and on…
DOMINO / BREAK MY BODY
12 Inch
06.12.05
domino is true dirt crew style û dirty afterhours housemusic for the head, toes and itchy fingers. echoing bassline going thru the dirt crew machinery of slamming beats, dark athmospheric pads and the usual dirty samplework makes 'domino' stand out as true classic. like '808 lazerbeam' defined a whole sound, this one takes it 3 steps further with refined arrangments and finetuned dirtyness of highest calibre. 'break my body' is totally another story, relying on a funky break (who could guess its from break 3000, ehm.. ), murder kickdrum and the oldschooool bassline we could expect from the duo. its goes on, and on , and on , and on. but - what the heck, is works like a charm and its what we want, right ?
KOSOVO / ORANGE FEELS
12 Inch
06.12.05
kosovo floats in with a liquid, subtly swinging beat, bubbly bassline and gentle key chords creeping in slowly: first sounding sweet but later on changing on into a beautiful yet haunting and slightly sinister melody from a grinding musical box. the intense, slightly unsettling atmosphere - as in an italian 70s horror flick - is further enhanced by the permanently nagging acidline and horn lick synth pads. for more manic dancing check orange feels: totally insane chopped up beats and f*d up string loops challenge you for some advanced electronic boogie

30.11.05
cool 80s and new wave inspired tracks a side with a dancefloor shaking track with michoacans own vocals flip for the more subtler side of things but still a good driver (sb)
after several reincarnations as the deeper star of house , rene breitbarth takes the final step towards more offensive trackbashing, but never forgets the melodic brilliance he is so well known for.. classic-sounding euphoric masterpiece !!
INTEC ROCKS EP
12 Inch
22.11.05
return from hiroki after the much hyped kazane release.. the fresh sound of hiroki esashika and dj hal take intec further into new realms and forward thinking.. kasablanka leading the way, slighty tougher than kazane, but just as original.. very interesting for fans of alter ego's rocker !!
huge electro house stomper by fuzzy hair and steve angello with a huge catchy 80s synth line to die for 4 great mixes to chose from but check the punk people mix (sb)
CLUBBANGER (CLEMENT REMIX)
12 Inch
08.11.05
south terminus gets you warmed up with a shuffle rhythm but a mean frizzling acidic synth line like a steel whip and a nervously knocking percussive sounds punch the rhythm more and more into a straighter pattern - when the tune finally falls into a 4/4 beat after the break and the acid line completely bubbles over its pure mayhem. 'clubbanger' on the b-side gets underneath your skin more subtely: headbangin tech-boogie with suspensefull, slightly claustrophobic string backings and robotic voice snippets. label head clement opts in his remix for a punk-funk slant with cool dangling bassline and snotty rhyhtm guitar wrapped up in foggy synth sounds

FINANCIAL ADVISORY
12 Inch
04.11.05
the consumer seems to bring up some 'advisory' with a wide range of styles going from the simple and raw oldschool side of electro to the more fine and digital sound combined with a lot of mad and dark lyrics that brings each track a little higher. 6 very different tracks with a lot of surrealism and 3rd dimension and still you find some tracks with a simple structure - keeping it all down to earth. the consumer-sound can be described as a unique atmospheric, but yet very dry and sharp sound that includes alot of small crazy elements

mystic and spiritual electronica dedicated to the memory of terence mickenna !!
from a brief appearance on framed & formed 2 to a full-fletched techno ep on iron box music! rasmus hedlund impresses once again with his old-skool basic channel type techno. but not just chill and deep, but dance-floor jacking numbers that will impress anyone who is willing to bop their heads to great music but it wouldn't be an iron box release if deepness weren't represented. while oneside pumps like a pissed-off step mother, the other side explores the deep realm of techno, just like we've come accustomed from our friends in finland. watch out for rasmusà he brings the old back and makes it sound like it never left!!
first release on dynamic tension for 5 years! so, here are four tracks of classic surgeon gear, a logical progression from where the label left off five years ago, but with some new flavours to tantalise. anyone who has caught a recent surgeon or murder boys live set will know the effectiveness of these tracks in a club, now available to the general public they will cause dancefloor devastation on a much wider scale...played by francois kevorkian, james ruskin, ben sims, bbc radio 1 s mary anne hobbs on breezeblock among others

woody is finally back with the long await own new treat. unexpectedly open produced and very fresh sounding the two to long and intensely reduced tracks are immediately touching, yet just teasers of many more things to come from him soon. a1- put em up and b - 40/love go right back to the times of 'body music' taking its already classic tight sound spectrum but giving it a reduced stylish electronic appeal which makes 'put em up' a dangerously sublime peak time hymn and 40/love the timeless future afterhour classic we just cant get enough of. cool! played by ricardo villalobos ..
COMPONENT ZERO

17.10.05
the title track is a sharp, dance floor effective electro track, on the funky bassline, with a mysterious vocal line on top. raining night driving , the second track goes more along the musical lines of model 500 and drexciya. more again into concepts, as the first release on this label, can be found on side b: audition me - is the theme, which is explored in two parts, bot with a more rough industrial sound, but both still close to the sharp sounds of dynarec

smooth electro disco works for the floor. three tracks with a positive club vibe. 'taboo' is a cosey clubby track which just makes things ok as they are... effective for everyone!. 'seduction' is darker and bottom heavy. but the most outstanding track on this ep is defenitly 'taboo 2'. this is the kind of track that brings the party to another level! great electro disco-tech for everyone who likes to party
