played and supported by laurent garnier, angel molina, kirk degiorgio, samuel l session, alan fitzpatrick, freddy k,dustin zahn, obtane, truncate and more. thinking outside the crowd, trying to obtain their own sound, their identity, sometimes through random ideas ,good ideas were born. iac2 is one of these. its the homogeneous union between the dub chords of emanuele and riccardos progressions. a meticulous attention to detail.. a desire to escape from prejudice and conformity are perceived through the atmospheres and the chord sequence that evades throughout the track.to wrap it all theres a stunning remix by future beat alliance (tresor)with continuous modulations on the main theme.this is a real trip into warm sounds of analog gear, evading through infinite progressions. the other remix has been edited by the painter of the moon : quantec (echocord), emotional and atmospheric dub techno as he always knows to do.its distortions and unusual sounds make us understand his concept of evasion.

RAPTURE
12 Inch 29.10.11
fresh from his triumphant return to detroits movement festival, where by all accounts he delivered the set of the weekend, claude young teams up with his different world co-hort takasi nakajima for their debut release on art. the original is no-nonsense but thoughtful future-tech, with plenty of analog modulations for the heads - and dance-floor thump for the party people. on the flip, the legendary ian o brien delivers a typically deep, detroit tinged remix with trademark warm bass and glistening top lines. ian planned to do one more mix-down of his remix when the huge earthquake earlier this year pretty much demolished his tokyo-based studio.

HUIS HUIS EP (CHRIS LATTNER REMIX)
12 Inch 23.09.11
its been two years since pawas gupta contributed an enchanting remix on sirions first vinyl release. constant communication and cooperation lead to this all in all accomplished project called >huis huis ep<. pawas productions start off smooth and impress with delightful elements and perpetual dynamic. the development of each track is rarely predictable. tempting the act of prolonged anticipation is a delicate one and leads further and further into remote realms. carried into the sec repetitive parts by finely tuned synth-boosts makes us realize the force briefly before being caught up in the hypnotic sounds again. propelling deep house with a pinch of funk and a touch of detroit - the classic yet brilliant pawas style! moon harbours chris lattner needs no long introductions. releases on nrk, einmaleins, fear of flying and luna records speak for themselves, are proof of a successful and active time. the dry yet truly ideal base frame for subtle but succinct modules for this remix is its effective substance. the static sub bass, fulminate and with an enormous thrust, is reminiscent of the miami bass age - virtuous modulations, the very complexion of mr lattner. he remains true to himself, we like!

THE VILLAGE (PREMIUM PACK INCL 12INCH AND CD)
12 Inch 10.05.11
incl 12inch & cd album. snugness and calmness are important ingredients for a fulfilled life- and for entertaining dance music as well, as is proven by the gentlemen schaeufler and zovsky. their debut album could be characterized as a cunning mixture of humorously grinning relaxation and pushing dance floor bounce. this unique sound reflects the stylistic background of the duo: while the one keeps grooving on the laid back and independent vibe of his rural home mecklenburg, the other moved to berlin already some time ago and inhales all the diverse, international influences of the electronic metropolis. the village is rhythmically fuelled by casual and lasciviously house tunes with a warm and friendly character, supported by organic, dubby bass lines. matching this positive and uplifting mood, light melodies, classical styled filter modulations and unobtrusive vocal entries remind the laid-back amusement of a sunlit sunday outing.

SOMETIMES EP
12 Inch 13.01.10
after a much-loved freerange ep, berlins andre crom & milans luca doobie return to their home label. >sometimes< might be the duos biggest dancefloor-burner since their breakthrough-track >ebony<. a tight groove, killer bassline, techy chord stabs and infectious vocals are the recipe for a pure peaktime anthem that will rock both house and techno sets.
>whats happening< is a deeper, more quirky atmospheric bass-heavy groovetool, with freaky vocals and a pretty unique vibe.
federico molinari gives sometimes a deep remix in typical oslo style, working with the chord stabs on a monotone hypnotic groove and subtle fx & modulations.
the vinyl is completed by broadway, a reminiscence to classic 90ies house music from new york, presented with a modern sounddesign. classic saxophone and organ stabs, a funky trumpet loop and soulful female vocals, this track is a musthave for all deephouse lovers.

DUB PRAISE (THE REVENGE REMIX)
12 Inch 29.06.09
hot on the heels of phonica records inaugural release comes a new 12inch on the label from jc freaks, with a very special remix from the revenge. jc freaks is the duo of anthea nzekwu and werner niedermeier. like hector, who helmed phonica 001 with ben bryant, anthea is phonica through-and-through, working behind the counter at the london store. an award-winning dj, she produces with werner as jc freaks and has already released two acclaimed 12inchs on mojuba offshoot wandering. dub praise is a sultry, funked-up assault on the dancefloor, incredibly direct and immediate but full of subtle modulations and dub chords. theres a jacking, almost boompty feel to the track, but the blissed-out vocal snippets, rich synth-tones and burbling acid licks give it a timeless, rolling quality beyond that. this is seriously addictive stuff. on the flip theres a remix from the revenge, aka graeme clark. phonica have been huge fans of clarks releases on labels like jiscomusic and instruments of rapture over the years, both solo and as part of 6th borough project. here he reimagines dub praise as a deep disco track which is all spaced-out percussion, breezy keys and low-slung bass but has real character and intensity to it. so it is that the eponymous label run out of londons best electronic music store continues its march on the worlds dancefloors and dj-boxes - with a 12 inch of hypnotic house class that fizzes with ideas and, more than anything, groove

TIME TRAVELLER EP
12 Inch 10.03.09
with recent releases on emergence and token, grovskopa debuts for labrynth and hits the floor hard with treacher collins . re-processed percussion and rolling low end seem to cause sensory overload at every turn. the perfect floor tool. aa/ balamber sees grovskopa maintain the industrial focus, but heads further into darkness and despair. driving forwards relentlessly, a rolling sea of bass and mechanical abrasive tones force us to move and dance! b/ trademark michaelangelo sounds here on the 4/4, reminiscent of some of the mid 90 s synewave recs releases. sirius carves into an immense sonic landscape. chaotic and crackling high frequencies modulate and break up over our heads, while monotone subs meander and bounce with the kick. big room techno. big sound. quality. bb/ massive offbeat techno from telesthesia, a collaboration between michaelangelo & coefficient. complex rhythms continually weave throughout the track. the journey deconstructs and falls into darkness, re-emerging again into precision synths and digital modulations

SPAWNNOFSPOON EP/ ALEX CORTEX RMX
12 Inch 12.11.08
dj support by dj hell, luciano, troy pierce, davide squillace (dc10, ibiza) and many more... name+relucto first gathered praise as remixers for the aforementioned fool with their demented re rub of drama earlier this year. their debut is a four track vinyl and digital release. longblackcurlyteeth’ is a dark and deadly slice of techno which germinates from stripped sleeparchive style minimalism into a gloopy acid evolution that plunges and skews itself into the sinister depths of foreboding, resonant evil. blueballs picks up the tempo and undulates along a jacking groove of raw metallic, mashed up alien calypso funk. title track spawnofspoon is a demonic mongrel of future styles. this scuzzy hip hop homage is riddled with shredded vocals and mutant bass modulations which explode into a post rave, acid armageddon. alex cotex is in devastating form with his hypnotic rework of lbct, the result is a mesmerising, relentless beast that reverberates a pulsing throb underpinned by a fizzing 303 bassline

c mon get up! get up! its sunday and time to go to church! gents hold on to your bibles, ladies hold on to your hats & fans as dj drop this crazy sunday evening mix on the congregation. sean mccabe from the blak beat niks puts the feet in stomp with this track. just listen to the thick, pounding kick of the beat! soulful guitar riffs and the base organ that roll in tandem with the guitar taking the energy level pass infinity. another organ wheezes, whines, shakes and wiggles against the groove, while the strings carry the original melody. the modulations are too intense and will drive any dance floor crazy and have them begging for more.

MAN HIGH
12 Inch 14.01.08
very strong release by martin landsky. -killer with a monster beat!- (record of the month in de:bug), -a corker from martin. really intense. manages to capture a futuristic feeling whilst still using classic sounds and percussion. superb! (will saul)-. already suported by argy, clé, dave dk, emerson, karotte, m.a.n.d.y., huntemann, phonique, agoria, chloé, d julz, fex, laurent garnier, sian, jeff bennett, jamie jones, mike monday, st. sebastian, will saul and many more. martin landsky is back with another strong release: >man high<. honni soit qui mal y pense, >man high< doesnt intent to glamourise drug abuse. its a tribute to captain joe kittinger and the man high project, a pre space-age military project that took men in balloons to the upper layers of the earths atmosphere. not only took the balloon joe kittinger to a record high, he also performed a sky dive from 75.000 ft. imagine how yo feel, falling free from the stratosphere, close to unconciousness, rotating like mad with 22 g … martins track >man high< captures a bit of that vibe with its live played wildpitch- like oscilating synth modulations. all three tracks on the ep are breathing martin landskys special analogue sound treatments and a rocking old school vibe. b1 builds a bit more subtle while b2 is an offbeat driven dancefloor smasher. brilliant release
