being a musical vagabond involves quite some illustrious stories and quite some adventures. four of those are captured on this exciting record. in his housey remix of >b1000<, andre kronert tells about an acoustic sunrise. based on driving sub-basses, he piles up layers of harmonic pad sounds and light melodies. the minimal plot of the original version by kollektiv ost roams twilight sceneries and explores single sounds and effects. schaeufler & zovsky give insight into a both relaxed and go-getting attitude towards life. their contribution >leafs< combines dreamy melodies with very lively and functional rhythms. in his own version of this acoustic tale, mollono.bass concentrates on a catchy groove and creates a very inspiring, deep and perfidious hypnotic atmosphere.

the big idea! ahoy sarp yilmaz and sinan kaya. after several eps on various labels now release their debut on simple as that records. the two guys from the big metropolis of istanbul bring us here, two beads which make the sun rise. the two men schaeufler & zovsky (acker records, 3000°) and andre kronert (ostwind, night drive music) each control still in a wonderful remix. even more diversity on this record is thus ensured.

ackerdub 10 laesst sich sehen, denn alle vier tracks werden wieder ordentlich aufs tanzbein gehen. von tief emotional bis groovigem house dreht diese scheibe wieder ordentlich auf!

kennst du das auch? man hört einen song, kann nicht mal genau sagen warum, aber: das teil groovt einfach bis zum anschlag! als understatement, als strategische tiefstapelei wird dieses phänomen gemeinhin umschrieben und was der aus jena stammende douglas greed hier als einstieg der neusten acker scheibe präsentiert, ist ein paradebeispiel dafür: unaufdringlich und doch unwiderstehlich kommt das fast schon als tool anmutende „78straight“ daher. bei seinem sommerlichen „western hives“ ist dagegen schon eher ersichtlich, woher der groove weht, von den luftigen xylophonklängen nämlich. und doch kommt der eigentliche schub auch hier perfide von hinten... die beiden mecklenburger schäufler & zovski haben das teil sehr percussionlastig umgestaltet und mit einer schwitzig bis sexy anmutenden note versehen. und was ist das? entspannt, mit dickem grinsen auf den backen und einer heiteren melodie auf den lippen: na klar, der mollono.bass remix, der „western hives“ noch einmal eine ganz andere gangart verleiht!

what a start in 2010!!!

supported by richie hawtin, laurent garnier, afrilounge, kombinat100, funkwerkstatt, gabriel ananda! 3000° - der wanderzirkus heißt die aktuelle tour, die von oktober 2009 bis april 2010 durch die clubs zieht! passend dazu gibt es jetzt die 3000° - der wanderzirkus compilation! und alle acts sind mit dabei. den anfang der ersten auskopplung macht mollono.bass mit einem remix zu >am utkiek< von schäufler & zovsky. eine leicht melancholische, maritime nummer mit dem bekannten drive und groove von mollono.bass! die beiden jungs von der waterkant tracker liefern mit ihrem track >der seiltänzer< einen euphorischen partykracher, der bei keinem primetime set fehlen darf. auf der b-seite triff man auf dreher & sm.art, die mit ihrem track >affenzirkus< wirklich das gefühl vermitteln, als wäre man in mitten der manege, umgeben von skurrilen figuren, kreischenden affen und lustigen domteuren. mit einem wunderschön deepen track von neurotron ist die erste compilation eine wahrlich runde sache!
