complatt goes absolutely uncompromising this time by bringing an unapologetically exciting various artists release from such likes as federico chiotto, itu, prã jescu and herck. the monster beats would do a good another name of it for sure. great, unique and quite underground stuff gathered altogether to complete the picture and spotlight the what’s on going that people are really waiting for.
a first artist release after a big compilation comes from well known argentinian, berlin based artist federico molinari and his inner world of micro house and dance music.
hot on the heels of skarn division s successful launch in december of 2016 and its inaugural, well-received four-tracker skarn which featured an original track and 3 remixes from positive centre, plukkk and yuuki sakai, italy-based label founder and author of the original work federico amoroso has made an indisputably wise decision and commissioned 5 more remixes to be produced by the stellar representatives of high quality techno discipline. needless to say, when you bring together the heavy-hitting and well-established takaaki itoh, stingrays, lucindo and paul birken who have it for a principle to bar no holds when it comes to production, you can expect a rather strong output, but even dj surgeles, who is normally known for contemplative, leisurely-paced deep space vibes has turned quite mean and put forth a kind of stomper that has the potential to wreck some serious havoc on the dancefloor full of action-ready technoheads.
a new year will come and we begin the first strike next year 17 with the tech whizkids federico molinari,, and alexis cabrera,,..!! federico was very diligent in 2016 with his releases -tran-c“ on point of view,,(002), -nais on ice“ on melisma,, ltd. (005) and with „congo toys“ apollonia,, label (021). alexis was also busy with his releases „bike seat ep“ on point of view (003), „mivi ep“ on fun records,, (002) and finally they will come up to epilog with the next bomb....-disco sauer“. that s why we are very happy to annouce them on epilog, the boys give us much love and respect with that incredible record! very honored that disco sauer will be their first collaborative release together since 2015 s la vueltica on raum...musik.,, what hit the ground...!
the first record of luv kluv comes out with 2 housy and powerful original tracks plus two remixes from highly talented berlin artist nick beringer and washington based artist dj nav.
the original track is an industrial and distortion experimental project of the owner label federico amoroso which contain a really metallic and dark sound. positive centre his remix it s a dark walk into industrial noise and distortion audio bites, with ambiental moment and powerfull distroy counter. the first track of b side it s remixed by italian producer plukkk which heavy dominating with relentless attitude and distortion driving kick - drum, with big impact for the dancefloor. the last remix is an collaboration with the japanese producer yuuki sakai which has an original idea to add a lyrical singer in the middle of distortion broken techno beat. the new label started well: arriving the big names of the genre and industrial noise skarn division label founder federico amoroso, a new label that will touch many different genres and musical nuances: techno, industrial, noise, drone, ambient and experimental, a melting pot of sounds joined together by a passion for harsh corners and futuristic electronics. artists who remix the first disc of the founder federico amoroso are positive centre (who played several times in places like berghain and tresor), plukkk and yuuki sakai: every producer knows that long in the field of industrial techno and noise music (just look, to name one, the presence of the same positive centre to the latest editions of the berlin atonal festival, or even yuuki sakai: remixed by oscar mulero .. and so on!)
various artist ep collaborations 2 from unlock recordings, featuring tracks from label head solimano, bruno de vincenti, christian burkhardt, barem and federico molinari. gonzalo solimano first created the unlock recordings imprint back in 2004 as a platform to support latin american productions, and ever since then the buenos aires label has played host to the likes of guti, jorge savoretti and franco cinelli. the second instalment in the labels collaborations series, solimano now invites german producer christian burkhardt to join argentinian talents bruno de vincenti, oslo records artist federico molinari and fun records founder barem for a split release. first up is solimano & bruno de vincentis cut love nebulae which layers infectious percussion with gentle chord sequences and filtered effects. christian burkhardts doog then cuts in on a deeper and darker tip, with a low-slung bass groove and hypnotic pad sequences. up next is barems funk duck with its rolling percussion, staggered synths and a pulsating low end, before federico molinari rounds off the package with 2.014.2, blending dubby bass patterns, chopped samples and frantic synth spirals.
federico leocata is an italian audio-visual artist who has exhibited in athens, thessaloniki and catania. later expanding his art into the field of sound based analysis of the human psyche. first discovered by heinrich mueller (dopplereffekt, drexciya), federico released his first ep in 2010 for the belgian imprint wemè records, attracting further interest from labels like frustrated funk and last known trajectory.
zunächst vocals by beta evers.
point of view welcomes a long time friend to the family, federico molinari delivering 2 wonderful cuts ready to be dropped this summer. on the a side we got a crazy, trippy melody perfect for the next after party you will never forget. the b side sees a funky-tech tune in pure molinari style.
for the third edition of kusi records two of the most promising talents from mannheim fabe and toby t teamed up. for the remix we have none other than one of the label heads of oslo records - federico molinari. written & produced by fabe & toby t. remix by federico molinari
it s argentinian time for melisma - on the a-side federico molinari teams up tender vocals and piano with a nice acid touch in a slightly hypnotic way - -joan s field- has a classic chicago sound setup blended with the an hypnotic and repetitive element that makes some dances longer ones.
for the latest instalment in the apollonia story we look to argentina and the talented producer federico molinari. having been based in germany for the last couple of decades, federico has refined his sound, developing a strong signature through his dj sets and his studio productions, most of which he has released via his label oslo. federicos ability to craft effortless grooves and timeless rhythms is evident here on this killer new three-tracker. side a is the eight-minute long roller * congo toys*. the focus here is on a crisp 4x4 beat, which keeps things simple – under this lies a sturdy bassline. all the while, the low end is accompanied by a series of bleeps, which could almost be the chatter between two archaic computers, modulated and weaving in and out of the beats and bass. on the flip, we have two more dance floor-ready joints. like * congo toys*, * tres cuartos* is focused around a simple foundation, with layers of unusual effects – an overriding sense of playfulness comes through in molinaris production, perfect for the boogie down crew. last up, * joyfex* takes us further into leftfield, hypnotic, hazy atmospherics draw us into their web and we are tangled up in a mesh of vibrating whirrs and echoing, distorted voices. sublime business from an apollonia favorite…
italian duo alex neri & federico grazzini are next up on steve lawlers viva imprint to deliver three versions of desert rose, complemented with a deeper nyc mix from uk northern talent burnski who brings his signature groove to the release.
our dear friend and oslo label mastermind federico molinari returns on raum, this time together with his mate alexis cabrera. both of them are hailing from argentina but currently are living in berlin. there they also met and decided to start this project together. these two jams are the first result now and we hope you like them as much as we do!
the get serious boys strike again, this time on the i m in love main serie. and for this ep they have teamed up with federico alfieri to show us a deeper musical approach, more focused on dub. *aire* on the a-side comes with a danceable rhythm and a bleak atmosphere, created by magnificent dub elements. on the flip we have another dark, dubby bomb, perfectly fitting on every afterhour. it also strongly represents our musical intention by drawing the connection to the labels first release.
oslo is happy to welcome new artist federico lijtmaer to the family with his wonderful ep impermanencia. inpermanencia on the a-side is a superb deep house track with the right kind of funkyness for the cool. federico combines smooth bass with shifty drums and classy synth action. this track will conjure a smile on your face and we are happy as hell to be able to release this little gem. unselfish on the b-side is as funky as its big brother on the flip-side. a throwback to bygone times in a way, if you consider labels as mosaic or trelik. however, federico definitely succeeded in terms of a modern interpretation. the inclined listener will recognize his musical roots anyway.
with alex neri and marco baronis vinyl seeing a release this month, legendary italian imprint tenax prepare the second in their new series, looking to long time resident frederico grazzini.
its the groovy 909 and huge basslines that distinguish grazzinis powerful brace of tunes as he looks to melt the old school with the new. amethyst and tourmaline are ready to twist your floors all summer.
played by monsieur cedric (serie limitee), owain(124 recordings/124 black), swink music records, john devecchis (instinkt records), oushe
last year saw 124 recordings expand with the launch of new sub-label 124black, aimed as a dedicated vinyl only outlet for -promoting a darker, harder sound firmly rooted in the underground-. much like the debut transmission, this second 124black release is a various artists affair and features productions from federico curatolo, ave astra, jacob b and john devecchis. upcoming italian producer curatolo commences proceedings with the no-nonsense peak time burner -house music- which is matched by ave astra s subsequent contribution -all i wanna say,- a track that s fairly dominated by the low-end sub bass. jacob b maintains his 100% appearance record for 124black with the hotly tipped -murk- whilst devecchis ends matters on a deeper note with -this is-.
this exceedingly creative and talented recording artist from italy now presents his first release for last known trajectory with a stunning five-track ep of stark, cinematic, ice-cold electronix, sounding as if created from deep within the science laboratories of space. stunning work from this upcoming and clearly gifted and artistic individual. limited pressing
wow how time has flown by.. it was almost a year ago to the day that the concept of pathway traxx was born, and we now find ourselves charging full steam ahead into our 3rd release.
big with ricardo villalobos
after remixing chupacabras the bigger man for us already in 2006 the oslo label mastermind and our dear friend federico molinari is now releasing his first solo single for our label. federico has been constantly upgrading his studio over the last two years and by this of course also has gained even better production skills. combining modular sounds and lots of effects with his own very well structured and characteristic rhythms can be described described as his new way working. we think that he is doing great and truly hope that you like his stuff as much as we do
federico leocatas latest experiment on abstract forms is stunning. drawing inspiration from the experimental style and themes of recurrence in nietzsches thus spoke zarathustra (1883-1885), leocatas ep is hypnotic and seductive. the ep harks to the work of the legendary gerald donald in guises such as heinrich mueller, der zyklus and japanese telecom - awesome and unmistakably futuristic sounds with natural funk and a sense of wonder and enlightenment.
saveds next release is a single from label debutants the italoboyz who present *hi fi*. built on punchy kicks and a pulsating bass line, the track is peppered with chopper effects, stand out vocals and rising synths that combine to cause maximum dance floor destruction. federico molinari provides an intelligent remix which instantly pulls the listener in with its hurdling bass line and fx. accelerated congas layer the mix and the vocals are processed through big ambient delays to great effect.
