a sound revolving around acid techno and the golden years of rave

daniel troberg from the aland islands has been producing his own style of music since the early 90s and is today based in los angeles, ca, and known for his 20 year involvement with cult synthesizer manufacturer elektron as well as having his own radio show transition on internet and fm radio station dublab. these 4 tracks conjures up his take on the future acid sound, starting off with the title track -acid story , recorded in gothenburg, sweden in 2007 and melding together ideas derived both from age of love -age of love and phuture -acid tracks with the unmistakeable troberg twist. -happosateessa channels the 90s suggestive acid style with a minimal and elegant sound design approach. -alto and -bajo were both produced in ensenada, mexico in 2014 and has a playful and proud latin vibe to them. all tracks made for big sound systems and adventurous djs. enjoy this trip!

asphalt groover invites you to four tracks in ragnar ataris typical acid style. playful and twisted, and sometimes with his characteristical pitched down vocals. side a breaks the traditional four on the floor beat and welcomes a more funky breakbeat vibe, while side b contains more classical acid techno. knowing each other from the swedish rave scene in the 1990s, ragnar atari and otherland both have a fondness for old, dirty acid and barely working analog gear. together they create dark and playful dance music, and perform energetic live sets. acid lamour is a sub label for lamour records started in 2018 with a focus on techno and acid dedicated djs. releases are limited to 303 vinyls, no re-press.

acid lamour focuses on techno and acid designed for djs and true heads. each release is strictly limited to 303 vinyl copies, no repress, no compromise. coming for your tongue ep marks the fourth collaboration between anders and john, following their acclaimed outings on flight recorder and new york haunted. the tracks were recorded during a spontaneous jam session at john’s studio in bergsjön, just outside gothenburg, using a compact setup of classic machines, roland tr-606, tr-808, a devil fish-modified tb-303, minimoog voyager, and arturia microbrute. after the session, anders reworked the material, slicing loops, layering effects, and adding extra drum programming to shape the raw session into a hypnotic, floor-ready acid journey.
