reflections is the spectral sound debut of nautiluss, the primary project from torontos graham bertie. his career began, as many do, with practicing mixing records in his bedroom before cutting his teeth in warehouse raves in montreal. after many collaborations and heavy touring early in his career, bertie has chosen to stay in more than go out, leading to a new direction in his music. dont let this lead you to believe hes a slouch in the live department.

zoo lab is proud to present the first vinyl and for this, they have decided to focus on the italian duo dubfluss which have already released in labels like moan, serkal and bla bla music, yoruba grooves and more. -sumobooth- and -falser lullaby- reflect their typical minimal dub style, rich of synth, variations and vocals. two tracks are finely worked to have a great impact in the dancefloor. near them, there are two very characteristic remixers who have proposed their own versions of -sumobooth-: arado ( desolat-moon harbour ) with a strong techno version played around the world, from india to germany, and neverdogs (moan-music on), with a classic tech style version played during music on parties at amnesia ibiza.

wie treffend der albumtitel mehr gewählt ist, zeigt sich in seiner definition. so bezeichnet das wort qua germanischer herkunft das körperliche wachstum bzw. die erwachsenheit. im fall von 3plusss: das wachstum als mensch und künstler. klar, da gibt es auch den armumfang (stichwort körperliches wachstum), für den der ein oder andere banger hilfsmittel von halbseidenen geschäftsmänner erwerben muss. mit Äußerlichkeiten hält sich denis (ja, nur ein n bitte!) aber nicht wirklich auf!

having released on some of the most influential labels, it is with great honor that audio culture welcomes the montreal based artist, nautiluss, to the family. the solstice ep consists of three tracks and finds nautiluss exploring warmer, more euphoric territories, and he does it right whilst still retaining the boldness and toughness of his past work. the ep flows effortlessly from the big string euphoria on solstice to the darker tones on corvus passing the slightly off kilter shuffle on neptune. without a doubt these will heat up any dancefloor in the cold winter months ahead.
