boys noize über “midnight”: “ich hatte das vocal schon längere zeit und setzte es in meinen dj-sets ein, aber ich fand nie den richtigen aufhänger, um daraus einen song zu machen. mein erster versuch war diese industrial-break-artige idee, aber ich verwarf sie und versuchte viele andere versionen. ich dachte, ich könnte etwas wie “xtc” machen, aber es funktionierte nicht. also holte ich meine initiale idee wieder hervor und ja sie wurde zu meiner lieblinsgversion. dieser prozess ist ein gutes beispiel seinem initialen bauchgefühl und seiner intuition zu vertrauen.”
