after much demand for a vinyl release the duo asked to make a short run of their latest remixes and were delighted to gain permission to release this legit but very limited 12 inch. only 300 copies worldwide, dont sleep cause when they are gone, they are gone!

here we have the first release on husten. husten is a new label from apiento (aka paul byrne) from test pressing. ‘the orange place’ by apiento & co was originally released on world unknown and from there became a favourite with everyone from todd terje and andrew weatherall and the balearic crowd. apiento asked wolf mu&#776,,ller to have a play with the track and here we are. wolf mu&#776,,ller is from du&#776,,sseldorf. he made his name as a dj at the infamous salon des amateurs and from there as a producer for labels like themes for great cities and collaborator with the likes of young marco as young wolf

2025 repress - sophie lloyd produced calling out in a dreary january as an antidote to the pervading doom and gloom of the news, summoning the power of the most joy-filled sound of all, gospel. the track radiates all the live atmosphere of gospel worship in mid flow, with soul trio dames brown bringing the authenticity. following the 7” release, which sold out due to huge demand, comes the 12” complete with the original version plus two brand new mixes from floorplan. the duo of detroit techno pioneer robert hood and his daughter lyric hood are well known for their gospel-infused sound with hood’s hometown influences always apparent. their club mix opens with a heavily swinging groove which breaks down into pure 4/4 indulgence, while the revival mix singles out the looped piano and organ riffs. putting their assertive spin on this new classic anthem, floorplan turn up the levels on calling out, bathing it in further glory.

last year s acclaimed sea power & change ep, a melancholic project from the mind of celebrated portuguese powerhouse tiago, is now revisited through the lens of three essential esp institute artists. side a gives us a take on strange fruit by our heroes soft rocks — a smacked up dub/boogie rendition leaving the beautifully dark mood intact whilst twisting the the rhythms toward the tough side. on side b, secret circuit (eddie ruscha of laughing light of plenty, and soon to release his solo release for esp) stuffs wild combination in his saddle and takes us for a ride through a futuristic version of the wild west with a funky bassline and distant whistles, only to be rounded out by a blissed-out epic re-rendering of yesterday is gone by somberero galaxys jonny nash. its a family affair.

repress - *jingo* is an all-time classic dance record, sampled, edited, re-configured and coveted by too many names to mention! it’s a killer funky disco version of master nigerian drummer olatunjis 1969 percussion suite of the same name, salsoul style, while over on the flip we have one of the deepest disco records of all time, *thousand finger man* a testament to candidos percussion prowess and a spacey, beautiful voyage that has left more than an indelible mark on modern house music, often being cited as a huge influence by artists such as masters at work and more. essential stuff basically, every collection should have a copy! this 12 inch has got to be one of the toughest salsoul records to find. changing hands for up to £300 a time for a used copy. now it has been re-mastered, re-pressed and made available again with all original label artwork intact with the permission of salsoul records, new york city.

often sampled, re-edited & re-jigged but never bettered! gwen mccrae s all time classic * all this love im giving* finally sees a timely repress, just as god intended, on a dinked 45 with all original artwork intact! thats right, you may recognize this number from cassius 1999 hit * feelin for you* but this track has long been a staple of rare groove dances & sophisticated soul parties with discerning djs & selectors clamoring for the original 45 at any cost.
backed here with its original b-side slow jam * maybe ill find somebody new* this rare 45 has been re-mastered, re-pressed & brought back for 2015s dance-floors in conjunction & with the permission of t.k. disco / henry stone music, miami usa.
