every week end im going to concrete to listen the artists who are playing there. i m talking about music with them , and do the same with people sharing the dancefloor with me.i collect all these inputs and ideas, all this energy, to define what concrete music dna is.because of this variety of people, tastes, and point of views, the label can t be reduced to one and only genre.to make the music more easy to apprehend, we are spliting the label in 3 parts, 3 differents moods, or more precisely, 3 times of the day... concrete music 7am contains the kind of music you could easily listen in our club at dawn, when the light is blue and the sun starts to filter through the mi-closed shutters. minimalistic, freaky or mellow, but always deep. concrete 3pm is definetly turned to house music. 3pm is the time when smiles are on every face, when the same vibe, the same energy, is going through every stomach in the room, and the crowd becomes one same entity. concrete music 4am aims for the more techno and black side of the music we love. at 4am, fists are pumping the air, or heads are down and eyes closed. slow or quick bpm, heavy kick or atmospheric this is what concrete music is all about...-

kalakuta soul records proudly presents the homewreckers new full length album, machinekiss. the ruhr valley-raised trio have been heavily involved in the underground dance music scene for many years and the soulfulness of their output is unquestioned. now machinekiss might come as their masterpiece. recorded over the past three years the album s nine tracks evolved out of a long in-depth investigation of blues and funk recordings from 1910 to 1980. as the sole sonic sources, the musicians - johannes ehmann, gregor pottmeier and krischan wesenberg - use their own music collections, making the work a reflection of their personal and collaborative history and backgrounds.micro particles of guitar chords, organ sounds and drum elements reappear in new contexts and are fused with contemporary synthesizer and bass motifs. the results are deep, rhythmic, complex and eccentric, leading the listener into the melancholic, more obscure sides of urban life.

d passion had some guests over at his studio, and heres the result! the collabs, a special release featuring 4 collaborations of d passion with artists from all around the scene. the first one might be a combination of 2 of the youngest, yet most thriving forces in the harder dance, take the risk is d passion and italian mad dog kicking it with bassdrums, tight melody and sharp vocals. together with promo, d passion sat down and created the last track of the night, a track with a large intensity grade shows their view on how the last 5 minutes of an event could and should sound like. the b-side might be a familiar one to many. last year, d passion and unexist provoked each other to non stop hardcore antics, and the two tracks which resulted from this session might be some of the hardest out there! bring the noise and what the hell are the best examples of how intense the combination of the unexist style and d passions production skills can be.
