time for colours, a new series with a playful sound and the world as inspiration. on yellow ep, lyssna invites the italian producer riciar ghir to contribute on a1 with dreamy cargo bubbles and tribal drums. a2 showcases the italian duo, minimalafrika. with several great releases on their resume, drakma queen takes you on a deep sci-fi house ride. on the flip side b1 yet another excellent italian producer robotalco comes along. involved in getwet records and one half of the fake congas duo. no more disco takes you back to the old school 4/4 sound with playful and funky tunes. last but not least is b2 with the young talented stockholm duo klubbhuset that released their debut album on the great nyc label lets play house. ss0817 is a classic house track with warm disco samples and hypnotic swirles that makes you wanna move your hips.

2012.. a new year and a new era for seven music! 7m012 sees the debut of the mysterious robotalco. we were so impressed by his recent releases on home taping is killing music and on the prowl we had to get in contact with him. what a release he is provided for us. this is real deep house music! the quality continues on the remix tip with underground superstar cottam. we are not going to bore you with our description of each track. we will let you draw your own conclusions..for now.. enjoy and stay tuned!

the mysterious robotalco serves up four deep house cuts for nycs on the prowl. robos road kicks things off with the right amount of hissing strings and slow drifting vibes that win its a1 spot. next up we have it gets to me, which strips things back a bit with pulsing synths, sparse congas, and perfectly placed vocal snippets. on the b-side we get moon robot, it keeps things rolling with its stompy feel and more of whats becoming robotalcos signiture swirling synth pad sound. rounding up the release for b2 is zuk zuk, with its quirky low slung groove that develops into a latin percussive gem...its really a superb way to round off robotalcos otp debut. well done.
