krypton 81 are ready to take part of the lunar orbiter program, alongside the captain mr. blatman, with their first mission: moon voyage.

the sustainably ascending lockertmatik imprint is back with another electronic four-hole punch in which each incision makes a deeper dystopian impact on feet and brain as well.

this 4-track ep combines ambient and techno elements to create immersive landscapes, which later on transform into the techno grooves. the concept of this release, “unknown frequency”, defines the limited nature of human perception, which is unable to experience the full universe of the sound.
on the a-side lies the main concept track as well as its landscape/ambient version. both works express the positive tension and harmonious excitement of the discoveries to come. on the b-side, first track - “traces” continues the search of the unknown. this time, darker regions of mind are explored by the sinister grooves and minimalistic atmospheres. final track “looking for the exit” is supposed to give an answer and release the tension of the ep, but after experiencing the unknown, nothing is the same anymore.

after receiving high praise for tracks under his lockertmatik-moniker on marcel dettmanns mdr label, kryptic universe is back on track with his second ep for shtum. and its a return in full glory with kryptic universe doing his future jazz thing like nobody else can do.

following the very recent success of the fokuz group ep on penny royal, label boss paul mac teams up once again with kryptic minds to provide some more bass heavy club techno. fellow osiris artist killawatt providing a heavy alternative mix also. early dj support on this one from dave clarke, ben sims , james ruskin & oscar mulero.

stephan schindler aka kryptic universe aka lockertmatik is a german electronic music producer with a preference for analogue gear. he has a distinct 90s techno and house sound signature without sounding dated or overnostalgic. after making waves on his own (vinyl only) lockertmatik imprint, he got full recognicition through his ep on shtum (uncanny valleys sublabel).
thank something for the interweb, otherwise we might have never been able to get in touch with this obscure talent. we are proud to introduce him in our roster with this fantastic ep, showcasing all of the above mentioned. midnight michigans detroit inspired machine funk, woodbridge st. tearjerking acid bassline & strings and, last but not least, the ridermans fierce analogue bassline and fearless drum programming brighten the catalogue of wolfskuil ltd in many, beautiful ways.

turn on the strobe lights and the fog machine. shtum returns with its second record, this time by dresdens very own kryptic universe. his ep comes with five cuts full of dark and gritty future jazz. his techno funk is playful as it is evocative. just listen to the bass line in *a light in the box* and the appropriately titled *critters funk*. not to mention the crazy piano in the title song and the rather hard-hitting *dark sky*. on top we got the mighty xdb on remix duties and his take on *signals*. again, the illustration on the b-side label is by aram haydeyan.
