touch of class records brings you a touch of magic, pulling the veil over the musical duo that is pattern drama. the duo comprises of rami abousabe, also known as rami deejay and corey baker, one third of uk trio wildkats. these two genuinely talented dj/producers have graced the underground dance music scene for over ten years, presently calling nyc their home. the duos debut ep *sweet romance* is tocrs third release and heralds the musical qualities that the imprint stays true to their sophisticated rhythms, laid down with infectious bass lines and of course, polished off with a touch of class.

2013 marks the introduction of a new imprint in music: touch of class records. the labels founders, pillowtalk member michael tello along side ray zuniga, pay homage to their fathers business continuing the family name and artistic principle. originally from los angeles, the label mates migrated north, to san francisco. toc records puts a new west coast label on the map aspiring to exhibit the distinctive deep-house, indie dance and raw-techno textures that embody both hometowns.

repeat orchestra (aka stefan schwander aka antonelli electr., rhythm maker, one half of the duo swimmingpool as well as being behind >a rocket in dub<) returns with another 12inch in his purest form of his electronic soul, based around live-performances, orchestral instrumentations and deep house. in a post-modern manner, the >asafa chords ep< operates differently as opposed to the standard sampling clichès of standard house-tunes that we hear on each and every street corner these days. the two pieces follow a minimal yet above the norm musical approach, with tricky and advanced rhythms and a strong groove that lets the listener dive deeper into the world of a one-man-band, who likes to express his version of afro-futuristic housemusic by bringing deep chords, live-played strings and lots more of his personal flavour into his production. . the result is a warm and wonderfully musical expression on the dancefloor that will guaranteed stand out from the rest.
