we welcome back subjected for his debut ep on sleaze records! the berlin based artist has been on fine form of late, releasing on esteemed techno labels like electric deluxe, polegroup and of course his own vault series imprint. this is subjected at his best, featuring 3 quality original tracks and a great remix by new scottish talent deepbass.

subjected, boss of the vault series imprint, makes his warm up debut with his rest one ep. the release includes two original tracks plus a remix by oscar mulero. rest one is based on a cemented beat made of metal hits, fat kicks and abused hi hats. the synthetic sequences, deep sub frequencies and aggressive drones move along the beat changing shape and evolving as the track goes on. shift is the second number, sci-fi arpeggios, subtle kicks, moving percussions and an hypnotic arrangement. oscar mulero reshapes shift by preserving the original arpeggio, adding effects and peppering the track with synth stabs in a constantly changing structure.

after teaming up with sawlin to deliver a series of spacy texture works, dubbed foreign awake pt.1 & pt.2, subjected returns to electric deluxe this time in searing solo guise. known for his thundering, no-holds-barred basement style, which until foreign awake was kept purely to his cloistered vault series outlet, with dolor we see the industrial edges polished smooth in this rotund and rolling three-track ep.

for our landmark 100th release we welcome back secluded for his second ep release on sleaze records. obstacle & blocked are two stand-out tracks from his recent live set performances and we re excited to finally get them out as part of this special release. including quality remixes by two very talented producers, truncate & subjected.

after 2 long years, michal wolski is back with his second release for international day off. from what we can hear, we re definitely sure that at least half of this time he wasn t leaving his studio. the music just sounds big, 4 fat tracks, including remix from gathaspar, is a heavy based techno stream, making every cardiovascular system pumping more blood. thanks to the fact that michal apart from production was responsible for mastering, we guarantee that this ep will generate the appropriate sound pressure from every speaker so be careful with the volume knob!

in the year 2053, two japanese musical explorers by the names of katsuyoshi and yousuke, travelled to the city of breda in the netherlands. whilst drinking beers in a park near the train station, they stumbled upon an old, partially decayed usb stick, hidden behind a trashcan. with usb technology being long absolete by then, they had no way of checking what was on there until returning back home to tokyo, where yousuke still had a macbook from around the turn of the century tucked away under his bed. after retreiving the data, the stick turned out to contain two 128kbps mp3s of unreleased coco bryce material. utilizing an extensive and painstaking radiocarbon dating procedure, they managed to pinpoint the production date to the spring of 2017. the tokyo natives then proceeded to reverse the mp3s back to their initial wav format via state of the art 2053 audio technology, and emailed them to richy at binary feedback, who subjected the files to a spot of mastering. richy immediately recognised the tunes from a series of youtube id request videos that had been doing the rounds for the previous 36 years. being the shrewd business man that he is, he decided to contact rick sanchez, who in turn teletransported the tracks back to 2017, dropping them off at an undisclosed dutch pressing plant. romanian visual artist raw parigi was contacted to sort out the labels, after which the records were pressed up and distributed to shops across the globe, hopefully making their way into the homes of hundreds of jungle and drumfunk enthusiasts worldwide. amen

second release comes from berlin based b.e.f., soaking you into a deep journey of the now. a repetetive meditation - forward pushing and hypnotising. b.e.f. has been a steady part of parallel berlin since a few years, so it s a logical next step to release his debut solo ep on our label. he has been releasing under different monikers, which have been subjected to quite a lot of variations. he meanwhile found a coherent foundation of a rough, hypnotic and gritty sound. coming along with the process of discovering the most genuine way of expression, he focused on analogue gear. “waveforms are not only a mathematical law, waveforms are everywhere, in all sections of everyday life, in light and in sound. parallel is one of the many parallel universes out there, living and believing in variety, whilst pointing onto respect for various life forms. we do what we love”.

10 years ago the29nov films was started in a small village in southern germany. thousands of videos and millions of views later sebastian kökow and kevin paschold have become one of the most sought after video producers in electronic music - mostly for industrial-leaning techno, but also for all other kinds of electronic music. to celebrate their 10th anniversary the29nov has finally gathered a few of their favourite artists and they all have contributed to a compilation, which will be released on 2 double 12-es, one out in november 2016, the other one to follow soon.

nice price deal !!! coruscating cut-ups yanked still dripping and yowling from the belly of the beast. dazzling and invigorating, scary and discombobulating. ‘psychic driving was a psychiatric procedure in which patients were subjected to a continuously repeated audio message on a looped tape, in order to alter their behaviour… often hundreds of thousands of repetitions of a single statement over the course of their treatment. they were also concurrently administered muscular paralytic drugs such as curare… the psychic driving procedure was a chronological precursor to cameron’s depatterning, involving massive doses of ect combined with similarly large doses of psychedelic drugs like lsd. the intent was to break down the subject’s personality — theoretically psychic driving could then be used with some efficacy in establishing a new personality’ (hanson records).

originally a weekly broadcast radio show on the dutch-based xt3 radio, reclaim your city (ryc) gained its reputation as a highly acclaimed podcast series with its headquarters in berlin. since 2012, eighty-eight podcasts have been published from some of the biggest names in contemporary techno, jeroen search, adriana lopez, fabrizio lapiana, exium and jonas kopp to name a few. with such success through its podcast series, ryc has decided to take matters to the next level and establish a label using its powerful concept as a platform.

for its first release ryc has decided to showcase berlin and paris, two cities historically known for placing great significance and expertise on the genre. berlin, consistently home to a resonating techno culture, competes here with paris who has been on the rise from beneath its bourgeois history. for this special first release zadig and antigone have been chosen to represent parisian techno, as blind observatory and subjected will in full support of berlin.

make no mistake, for vault series 15 the doors have been flung open to welcome a new act to the fold. theres very little known about mistake made. no records or releases exist to date, but they have impressed vault chief subjected enough to have them join the sequestered berlin-based crew. and in sublime compliance with the vault series creed, this debut effort from the shadowy outfit presents yet another set of functioning and frill-free dancefloor material, complete with a rusted-through hue of its own. on the a-side >wrist< jumps straight in with marching intent, complete with fidgety hat work thats both anxious and infectious. then on the flip, >ricochet< opens with field recordings tossed into a stormy concoction of ticks, hats and fuzzy atmospherics, teamed up here with one of those basslines that will keep you glued to the floor. >indec< then concludes in signature vault series style an ominous, growling number rattled with alarm bells and screeching, clangorous detail. its one of those monstrous slow-burners that leaves you wounded yet longing for more. all in all, a rounded first release from a new techno tour de force. this isnt the last we will be hearing from mistake made.
