using his own record label as a framework to express his electronic visions without any constraints and boundaries, faster makes a long waited comeback on rueres 3rd release. on side a, the original version of m.o.d. is veiled in a texture of dreamy loops, leaving the subtle bassline to anchor our minds in these lush soundscapes. on the other side, rhadoos remix unleashes a whole new set of energies, gathered from moulding the main theme into minimalistic metallic frames, held together by an addictive punchy percussion. vinyl only and 180g! early support from ricardo villalobos, onur ozer, a:rpia:r, barac, cezar, etc.
vinyl only! dragosh delivers with impact his track brinit . set on a traveling percussion loop, playfully adventurous and filled with an ever growing energy. a warm melodic female vocal in contrast to a technical voice cut draws the listener in to feel the energy with no chance to get tired. rhadoo and cezar take the voice out and put it into a new context. with their focus firmly on the groove, and adding some extra synths they create with finesse, a proper trip... reducing the vocals into whistles and layering a rather mysterious noise, they masterfully turn this remix into something totally hypnotizing...damn good too

colorhadoo makes his amphia debut with two enticing tracks while cristi cons delivers the house s remix. on the a side we are presented with * j strawbberry*, an atmospheric track which slowly slips away into a mind-bending realm, where broken voices come and go under different shapes and the listener is engaged by occasional eclectic explosions. a beautiful work and trouble waiting to happen when properly used. side b has cristi cons taking the interpretation duties of the main track. the remix keeps the general mood of the original with a twist, everything is wrapped around a tight groove with shattering low end work, ideal for those early mornings. we continue with * zanzibar*. this second track on side b takes the artistic vision into reverse. no more voices to be heard, huge spaces are reduced to just a solid groove. the track is guided by hypnotic pads and sounds while the emblematic percussion section is conducted by none other than colorhadoo himself. dont listen to this in the dark!
bqd040.1 is a collection of remixes the label released during its early years. back then, the label intended to back up every release with a remix. the rhadoo remix was not just an amazing addition to pherox’s “gabrielle” track, but it was also featured on an ep released with new graphics. buck delivered an amazing interpretation of danilo schneider’s summer track “l’ecole”, that’s still very much a favourite at the label. last but not least, laurine frost’s remix of dana & nvelope’s “flowers”, one of dana’s first released tracks. frost gave the original a rich soundscape an extraordinary vibe. all of these remixes meant something special to the label, and now they’re all here for you to enjoy on one record…
