good song writing and a keen melodic ear set ludo and his new emotive composition apart. hectorine is a womans name and from the sounds of it ludo is in lust. remixes are served up by new school minimalist alland byallo and in house jet setters audio soul project. alland keeps the epic pads from the original weaving in and out of his surgically designed bouncy groove. on the flip asp get down to business with a remix that would’ve been right at home on their seminal community lp. the song is essentially re written with new music and drums. this rendition could almost be mistaken for a track on one of todays fashionable labels except for its lack of dogma and cliché

the original mix is stripped back to a straight groove consisting of a massive bassline and a synthline, which surely leaves bodies sweating on the dancefloor! french gigolo ludovic delivers some really funky englisch vocals.. i’m sure he doesnt even know what he s really saying (i must to go in paris! i must organize myself! to arrange my clothes and my discs, and i hope that i ll not miss the plane) ??? well, we all had a major laugh when we heard the vocals.. and thats why we love this crazy guy ludovic!

the score for “the theory of everything” is created by the recently deceased (9 february 2018) icelandic composer jóhann jóhannsson. jóhannsson’s intricate compositions provide a stunning backdrop to the romantic drama about stephen and jane hawking, portrayed in the film by eddie redmayne (“les misérables”) and felicity jones (“the amazing spider-man 2”). he has composed music for many films including scoring director denis villeneuvue’s film “prisoners” and josh c. waller’s “mccanick”. limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on transparent blue 180 gram double vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve.

diese doppel-lp aus dem hause bbe ist in erster linie für djs und beataffine produzenten gedacht. doch auch freunde eigentümlich-spezieller und wundervoll-mysteriöser sounds dürften ihre freude an dem vinyl haben. der sampler wurde von den beiden versierten kompilationsspezialisten mr thing und chris read zusammengestellt. er enthält eine außergewöhnliche sammlung von 23 library-stücken, die aus dem gigantischen archiv von cavendish music stammen. das 1937 als boosey & hawkes recorded music library gegründete unternehmen ist marktführer für produktionsmusik in großbritannien und weltweit mit dependenzen vertreten. mr thing und chris read erhielten erstmals 2014 im rahmen eines sampleprojekts zugang zum cavendish-archiv. bei ihren grabungen entdeckten die beiden eine sammlung mit aufnahmen aus den 1970er-jahren, die bis heute nichts von ihrer frische und originalität verloren haben. die schönsten perlen daraus finden sich auf -the library archive- wieder. sie reichen von tagträumerischen scores im stile lalo schifrins bis zu atmosphärischen proto-hip-hop-instrumentals.
