peter kadergard has been active in the helsingborg (sweden) electronic music scene since the early 1990 s. he was involved in various collaborations during the 90 s and appeared on a few cassette releases under the names grodans fodelsedag, marchentraum and mannix system. peter released his first rittowski record on the borft sub label djuring phonogram in 2004. apart from this electro project peter is a member of the bands goz mongo alliance and inyurmania, who has made a few releases on the ufo mongo, pripuzzi and skiboy record labels. this is new electro!

the colombian techno phenomenon gotshell debuts on the planet x label with two bangers – and features remixes from two of the most inspiring techno producers at the moment. there is a lot to be excited about with this one. the release begins with the title track cluster, a hard-hitting spacey techno wonder. high-pitch sirens travel around the speakers and infiltrate your senses – like an ancient gaseous alien lifeform in search of a carbon-based lifeform. hypnotic and hard. one of the more prolific techno producers today and the mastermind behind the sk_eleven label, setaoc mass, turns the title track into a molecule-rearranging thumping floor-filler. the b-side starts with syndrome. its earth-shattering kick and hypnotic atmospheres drag the listening into a weird, occult journey. ideal for the late-night darkrooms, metaphorically and figuratively. takaaki itoh, the japanese techno sensation and founder of the acclaimed wols label, follows up with his own rendition of the track. the remix from this remarkable legend within the scene is both eerie and engaging from the get-go. its driven by a thumping kick, playful hi-hats, and modular bells – a combination that combines the whole release and makes it such an essential for djs who are daring enough to take their set toward unknown territory. the planet x label is the brainchild of the icelandic techno artist exos where the harder side of techno is explored.

after breaking out of our holding facility in early 2017, we tracked the humanoid alien lifeform known as darling to a deep bunker in amsterdam. while we were unable to gain entry tio the inner chamber, an operative successfully placed an eavesdropping device close by. while monitoring the lifeform s movements, we were able to record eight musical compositions of varying lengths that it had created using a range of analogue and digital electronic instruments. we have called this collection tulipa moves. you will notice that the tracks utilise a variety of rhythmic patterns, explore unearthly but attractiuve sounds and are capable of stirring strong emotions in human listeners. we direct your attention towards the lilting, softly spun melancholia of composition 03 (codename so did we) the fluid, beat-free bliss of composition 05 (codename the m song), and the up-tempo positivity of composition 07 (codename kiss the glass), whose chiming, intertwined melodies and snappy rhythmic energy reminded us of so-called intelligent dance music. we were astonished by the quality and intricacy of these alien creations and those we have not described in detail. it strengthens our belief that darling is a lifeform with higher intelligence and otherworldly musical ability

to whom it may concern: following the release of the recently discovered musical recordings of the escaped extra-terrestrial lifeform known as darling, we have unearthed two more aural explorations that we believe the safe trip organisation must make available to the public. the first we are calling sim. it is the subjects most alien and otherworldly composition yet, combining mind-altering rhythmic elements with elastic electronic bass and chords from beyond the stars. the second, moon fleet, can only be decribed as next-level sci-fi daydreaming. since darling had no access to electronic hardware or musical instruments during his time in our holding facility, we have absolutely no idea how this music came into being.

strictly confidential: we write to you with alarming news about the extra-terrestrial specimen discovered in the forbidden forest in july 2017. this lifeform, code-name darling, escaped from the top-secret safe trip organisation holding facility late last night. all that was left inside the subject’s enclosure was a pressed polyvinyl disc containing two pieces of electronic music. the first, which we have titled when she hates me, sounds like a call to a distant mate or partner, composed at sunrise and shot through with blissful positivity. the other, now known as isle of red, combines surging drums with poignant and melancholic sounds that are clearly unearthly in origin.

new york native caiazzo releases the devotion on his and p.leone s e-missions imprint featuring three dusky techno tracks and a remix from white material co-founder young male. much like p.leone, caiazzo s debut release (entitled the dredge ) landed on work them records, spencer parker s label that s featured names such as radio slave, rodhad, dj richard and ryan elliot. launching e-missions earlier this year, the pair continue their high quality output by following up two releases from p.leone with three uncompromising original cuts from caiazzo himself. rolling percussion drives 917 (sportmixxx) whilst intoxicating drones operate throughout, making way for lifeform with its layers of thick synthesised sounds that build on top of a relentless drum composition with subtle but effective transitions. godbody offers a stripped back approach to techno with an intricate percussive composition that allows a deep low-end and a hypnotic perc to take control. finally, white material label boss young male provides his take on godbody where bass hits combine with haunting atmospheres and warped rhythms, closing the release with style.

after four shared releases from the all stars, here comes the first individual output in our label, handcrafted by the scientist duo exium. mantra is an epic piece of techno, based on solid rhythm foundations, joyful synth work and rolling stabs. a complex workout that demonstrates the skill of this guys in the studio. futuristic techno with roots in the past. peter van hoesen takes the original parts of mantra and reconstructs it his very own dubby and fat vein, sure to please those fans of the berghain sound out there. closing the release, lifeform its the trademark exium sound, where sharpness and love to sonic details are the starring. resume: a solid release, away from monotone affairs, made for please the ears of those who love techno in its pureness.
