amusiana is here to promote quirky, offbeat music through eclectic mixes that will surprise as well as entertain you. its run by steve rowlands whos previous collaborations and releases are as diverse as full moon scientist (a break beat/dub outfit signed to leftfields label hard hands and botchitt & scarper), pusmipulyu (a nu-jazz outfit with michael dog signed to interchill records) and melinda miel and marc almond (experimental torch songs on normal records) to name but a few.

it has been a head-spinning couple of months for miracle. the new ldn/nyc synth-pop duo comprising singer daniel osullivan and synth overlord steve moore have released their debut ep on house anxiety (the big pink, zoo kid etc) to fevered critical acclaim, notably wowing the likes of wire, nme, dazed and confused and pitchfork in rare, uniting form. they then made their live debut with a series of shows with likeminds darkstar and blondes, before premiering their stunning debut video for the eps leviathan lead track >the visitor<, in the us via pitchfork and then in europe via dazed. now to tie a ribbon around this meteoric first chapter, they are releasing a limited edition double 12-inch vinyl ep, collecting together on physical release for the first time the comprehensive, dazzling selection of mixes and reworkings that >the visitor< was treated to.

schneeweiss iii: a collaboration of neighbours. over the years, oliver koletzki has continuously cited berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. two of his albums - gro§stadtmaerchen and gro§stadtmaerchen 2 - have been a direct ode to the capital. friedrichshain, one of berlins vibrant districts, has always held a special place in olivers heat. this is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now.
