nice price deal !!! founded in september 2015, silo is a collective of young artists. the silo project concentrates both a label of contextual and experimental music as well as a publishing house practicing both lead and digital. its fields of research, experimentation and dissemination are therefore inherently multiple, local and dispersed, poetic and political. the collective silo organizes each year, during a month, time of meeting and residence within the place of which it bears the name. fonde en septembre 2015, silo est un collectif de jeunes artistes. le projet silo concentre a la fois un label de musique contextuelle et experimentale ainsi qu une maison d’e&#769,,,,dition pratiquant tout à la fois le plomb comme le numerique. ses champs de recherche, d experimentations et de diffusion sont donc par essence multiples, locaux et disperses, poetiques et politiques. le collectif silo organise chaque annee, durant un mois, des temps de rencontres et de résidence au sein du lieu dont il porte le nom.

marc durif alias nova nova rencontre malcolm maclaren en 2005 pour lequel il compose le titre love will (dernier titre de l album) mais aussi un remix de-love will tear us apart-au piano (sorti l annee derniere (7inch). titres qui restent dans les tiroirs suite au deces de maclaren. mais fort heureusement ce premier titre circule (grâce à maclaren) vers quelques destinataires de choix dont le celebre peter hook (bassiste et fondateur de joy division et de new order) qui le joue au debut de tous ses dj sets, tout en ne connaissant pas le nom des producteurs. il dit le jouer car il provoque chez lui a chaque fois une forte émotion. marc durif en compagnie de nombreux artistes sest attele par la suite a la composition du quatrième album neo-classic. la suite de composition de ce disque renvoie dos a dos la pop synthétique romantique de ten cc et l’impressionnisme de debussy pour s’assembler dans une vision neo-classique.

elektra release of charlotte gainsbourgs third studio album titled irm. the title is derived from m.r.i, which reflects the medical procedure charlotte had to go through after suffering a head injury in a water skiing accident in 2007. the album is charlottes most personal to date, and is produced by acclaimed grammy nominated artist/multi-instrumentalist beck. what started as a brief recording session between charlotte gainsbourg and beck ended up to be the body of work that is irm. over the course of a year and a half of writing and recording together, becks role grew to encompass all aspects of the creative process. he worked seamlessly with charlotte co writing the lyrics and produced and mixed the recording. (this is the first time he has ever been so involved in another artists work.)

f.i.c is an initiative by darker than wax (singapore) and cascade records (france), independent labels from different continents have come together to present a very special and heartfelt project. this lp marks a milestone, besides being an exclusive collaboration between the labels, it also features a conglomerate of many different artistes from all over the world.
