the canadian duo of gremlinz & jesta present their debut ep for metalheadz, a 4-tracker full of energy, emotion, progression and creativity. all corners are covered with the ethereal atmospherics provided by ‘nessus, the weighty and assertive sounds of ‘departed, the delicate and graceful nature of ‘the drift (which also features rumbleton), and the title track closing the ep administering a dose of funk to the release.

horo gives true artists the freedom to represent the full extent of their talent and it is not often the cerebellum is truly engaged with the genre we have grown from but music for the mind is one of our over-arching ideals. and so we come to *scope*, the 10th release, a full length compilation spread over 5 vinyl 12 inches. deviating somewhat from our vinyl only position up to this point, given the scale and magnitude of this project scope will also be released on cd & digital, although there will also be 5 vinyl only tracks by way of thanks to the vinyl buyers that have supported the label up to this point. 24 tracks of uncompromising, innovative music from horo mainstays and new artists alike, scope represents where we have come from, but moreover, where we will be going. this is just the beginning.

on the flip, data takes us back ten years ago, with the techie curfew. a sly sample invoking the terror of a war torn citys attempt to enact a curfew sits perfectly before this one truly takes off. this is another cut that doesnt try to be too much, just establishes a serious vibe and works very well in the mix. sound artillery what a perfect name for this label. weapons for mass consumption, tools for the audio soundclash, tracks that hurt you. and make you come back for more!

the gates of charon, an original soundtrack, is the long-awaited result of two years of work by a multitude of outstanding producers from the bass music and drum n bass scenes. this deep, dark and weighty release comes at you with 26 tracks of professional soundscape production to tell a story of the fusion of the mystic and scientific to manipulate dark energy and explore the multiverse. this unique project will take listeners on an interplanetary journey of the highest order through sound and emotion. this is a limited edition release in a double gatefold full-art cover with 2x12” two-color 180g vinyl (limited to first 300 copies), with download codes (including bonus instrumental versions).

skeleton recordings are proud to announce the release of the skeleton xxv project to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the label which originally launched in 1992. this is a five part collectors edition to celebrate 25 years of skeleton recordings. volumes 01 to 04 sleeve artwork when put together will form a big piece of artwork of the revamped original skeleton recordings logo that will look good on any wall. volume 05 will be a picture disc. the full digital album will only become available once all five volumes have been released. the project has taken just over 12 months to put together and is definitely something for the collectors. it has been generating quite a buzz within the underground circuit the closer it gets to release date and has been getting some really good support from the likes of bailey, storm and ray keith to name a few.
