after last years superlongevity box-set madness, perlon welcomes 2011 with a 3-tracker by mister san proper. on this one, the amsterdam based musician not only introduces >a cat called mice< besides offering to >cut yo hair<. san also managed to discover the epic >lost track of time<, a song that was lost for more than 800 years,……uff & wow!

alan abrahams is portable and this is his second 12inch for perlon. a pretaste of his forthcoming album, expected sometime in 2011 through this channel. after spending some time in london and berlin, alan recently moved to lisbon, where he continuously works on his very own definition of house. while the a-side, life magically is a stripped down mental monster, the b-side offers the perfect love song entitled >find me<.its all about soul and if you have the chance, we highly recommend portables current live show, its a trip!

its not really necessary to introduce catherine britton aka cassy anymore. throughout the last years she continuously worked on her very own definition of house. besides releasing on labels like playhouse, minus, mental groove, dessous, get physical and perlon, she also started her own label, entitled cassy. shes also known for her countless collaborations with musicians like ricardo villalobos, steve bug, dj elin, dave the hustler, luciano, mathew jonson and swayzak and of course for her excellent dj-sets all around the world. perl82 is cassys third 12inch for perlon.

pantytec gets remixed by daniel bell, isolee and ultrakurt aka jean-guillaume cabanne of narod niki fame and david gluck. another high quality perlon release, made in 2002.

ark has got an eclectic and organic sound, something in between. from his origins as guitarist in a number of 80s funk bands, most notably trankilou, where he hooked up with the legend that is pepe bradock and onto the great matthew herbert & losoul with their first collaboration, belle lurette in 99. the alleluyark ep series from 2003 reaffirmed as his status as chief protagonist of experimental, groove led house and techno. his 2005 long player on perlon, caliente won him critical acclaim, which is furthered by his more recent works together with shalom (as shalark), krikor (as krikark), cabanne (as copacabannark), mikael weill (as les cerveaux lents) and dolibox. his cannon of remixes is as long as the channel tunnel, reworking the likes of stephen beaupre, mr. oizo, archive, mossa, salif keita, slabb, fym, robag wruhme
