(vinyl part 3/4) voltage festival is releasing a compilation of 4 ep s to celebrate five years of existence. the ep s are dedicated to four sub-genres of techno and represent the versatility in techno of voltage festival s line-up. the series starts off with a classic techno ep called zener diode, followed by a deep techno one called wiring harness, an industrial release with the name circuit breaker and closing with acid techno called resistor. ltd to 200 copies!

following up on their acclaimed 2016 album, “pitch black mirror”, the canadian duo return to sonic groove with four new tracks based on their improvised live performances. these are dance floor tracks with an experimental edge and a pervasive sense of dread, emphasizing the project’s decades-long commitment to fusing techno and industrial music in unique ways. elements of ebm, electro, and rhythmic noise blur together as serpentine basslines twist through shifting layers of percussion, and modular dronescapes morph into agonized voices of suffering and defiance. another powerful weapon from the orphx arsenal.

with the departing comfort ep, clr artist drumcell has put together a heavyweight remix package for one of the tracks from his debut long-player sleep complex. after receiving raving reviews and massive support in the international scene, the californian dj/producer has invited some of todays most intriguing techno artists to create their own version of his outstanding composition.

organic failure is the title of the latest release on injected poison. on this release we have 2 original tracks and 2 remixes from two of the most important producers in the techno scene at the moment. jose pouj named his first two tracks siris and fmo, two tracks produced through hardware and software with a thick bass, synth and deep atmospheres. christian wunsch is responsible for the first remix, with a more forceful and direct dancefloor approach. orphx delivers his version of metamorphosis, keeping the original sounds and shifting forward orphx trademark sounds.
