esalo ep is a needle-shaped surface structure where vibrations are made of single-crystal silicon and have a low-frequency shelf. the main feature is an increased absorption of black-light halos and dusky light emissions.

thermo acoustics is the area of sound that seeks to reconcile the laws of sinuous audio strands with the existence of black hole event horizons. much as the study of the statistical mechanics of body radiation led to the experience of quantum sub dynamics, the effort to understand the statistical mechanics of bass has had a deep impact upon the understanding of holographic principle, leading to the formulation of these tracks.

exposed within the interior of these tracks are a variety of intrusive and extrusive igneous structures. they include the extensive hydrothermal alteration of rhyolites and gabbros and a central megabreccia created by hydrothermal dissolution and collapse. the siliceous megabreccia is at least 40m thick in its center - to only a few meters thick along its edges. the breccia consists of fragments of white to dark gray cherty material, quartz-rich bass, diagenetic clap nodules, and stromatolitic snares. it is intensively silicified.

chaos is a tough, ny-house jam with 909 trim. first 3 minutes for the mix, then ending up just north of hypnotic bell house. strictly for the floor. memphis is a broken shell of a sampled break, worked and loaded under matt maaskants emotive freestyling on a concertmate mg-1. trace is the wandering groove of an excited arpeggiator, after the drum machine has left the building.

new kanada enters the third season with two white hot electronic tracks. >white mouse< is an acidic stormer which winds its way from old-school house - into serious dark club territory. with a shifting, swinging bassline, tough metallic toms and some killer drops - this one is a weapon in the mix. sounds like tevo howard meets luke slater. kind of. >spectrum< is deep, digital radio dub floats freely - somewhere between baby ford and a broken fm receiver. drifting melodies, haunted white noise and serious house beat. a track for late night driving, and early morning warmth.

new kanada enters the emerging spring season with two cuts of hope and despair. on the a-side, adam marshall drops >vamp< - a 12-minute modal jazz monster that winds its way from a bass heavy dub to an swirling psychedelic quilt of sound. dripping modular sequences for girls in white. on the flip, nk presents a cut from toronto-based matt maaskant. >outside the cave< was recorded in his fathers grain silo in northern ontario and evokes smokey post-club memories. murrs delicate, gorgeous mix-down freezes the track into an example of fragile beauty - complete with fuzz clicks, choir ensemble and a deep 808 kick. burial meets bon iver. we are really feeling this one. music to fall out of love to. limited to 250 copies - clear red vinyl edition.

new kanadas adam marshall delivers a stunning peak-hour track with obvious inspiration from old school detroit techno and classik chicago house. >kokane< begins as a tightly wound minimal house groove with precise, pounding percussion and heavily swung jack. after the 3:30 mark the track gives way glistening synth chords which shine through the darkness transporting the cut into carl craig-ish jazz territory. on the flip, montreals ernesto ferreyra mutek, cynosure brings a south american flavour to the remix and takes the dancefloor oddessy deep into the chilean canyons. a late night mixing tool for the djs. lastly, we find the outro called >moonlight chills< on the second cut of side b. ambient and lush, this one is for the late night detroit highways. mojo and the darkness along i75! a deep ending to a very personal journey.
