swiss arrow ist die neueste musikalische inkarnation eines multiinstrumentalisten aus santa fe, new mexico, der als klassisch ausgebildeter musiker und sänger begann. er hat einige bemerkenswerte abzweigungen genommen, die mit seiner erkundung von free jazz und industrial-musik in den frühen 1980er jahren begannen und fortgesetzt wurden, als sein partner ihn in den 1990er jahren mit elektronischer ambient-musik und detroit techno bekannt machte. seit 2010 legt er als lstnr dj-sets auf, zunächst mit seiner intergalactic fm, dream machine show, speak no evil und aktuell als teil des seer-kollektivs.

orphan ist da! mit dem wohl härtesten studioalbum mit dem namen orphan, melden sich swiss & die andern zurück. wer jemals eine liveshow dieser band besucht hat weiß ganz genau was hier gemeint ist. diese band hat sich in kurzer zeit einen der besten namen erspielt, was liveeskalation anbelangt, egal ob auf ihren exzessiven live shows ihrer clubtouren oder während der vielen slots auf den bekanntesten festivals im deutschsprachigen raum. mir orphan veröffentlichen die hamburger rund um frontmann swiss ihr bisher härtestes material der bandgeschichte. dabei herausgekommen ist ein lauter und wütender sound der die lust erweckt, sich im moshpit vor der bühne mal wieder richtig gehen zu lassen.
