im grunde genommen braucht man über die beatsteaks aus berlin mittlerweile keine großen worte mehr verlieren. ausverkaufte tourneen, headliner bei festival-größen wie highfield und rock’n’heim diesen sommer – der ruf als deutschlands beste live-band kommt nicht von ungefähr! bereits mit dem letzten album »boombox« (2011) stand die band auf #1 der charts und bekam goldstatus verliehen. mit dem siebten streich besinnen sie sich ganz auf sich selbst und tauften das neue album schlicht »beatsteaks« (vÖ: 01.08.2014). vorab verschenkten sie mit »dna« einen knackigen punkrock-song an ihre fans, die erste single »gentleman of the year« kursiert derzeit mit einem unwiderstehlich charmanten video durch die medien und schallt den sommer über aus den radiostationen. wenn dann noch moses schneider als produzent für die elf songs an den reglern sitzt, bewahrt sich die eingangs erwähnte formel: man muss nicht viele worte verlieren über die beatsteaks aus berlin.
