lp reissue of 1989 perro andaluz/circe tape release

otake 007 is the debut from the born new polish project id ensemble. the release is called hollow ep and is authored by filip kaczmarek, self taught musician with technological attention to detail. it is one of few projects which filip runs in parallel although this one is heavily influenced by berlin sound exports. it was created as an expression of the need to break from the pattern, escape from the trademark. there are four tracks on the ep which are inspired by some detroit and berlin sounds, thus still having some special polish touch.

the eee ep is the all fresh debut from ensam, local vandal and core member of solkyss. born and raised troublemaker, he dropped out of school to make his way in to music. luckily he could spend his days hiding in his fathers basement which resulted in his project progressing secretly over the years granting him a distinct cinematic groove with deep and atmospheric aesthetics.

solkyss are back with a four track blender. on the a side are two thumping tracks from the stockholm based duo subdued camel - one rolling deep and one soaring airily. on the b-side we find solkyss regulars with two tracks that differ in character. lonely shark is an afterglow tune with a driving beat set under an experimental soundscape. from ensam comes another sun struck, funky piece with that signature cinematic dreaminess he showcased on his debut ep eee.

following his release on stockholm s bossmusik, kalawila s third release really makes mountains go boom! the strength in the second release on mountain explosion device is undoubtedly kalawila’s sense of rhythm, straight to the point, no bs grooves, that swarm to form total dj tools, plus a subtle atmosphere that will move this record from the shelves into the booths. clocked into a near 13 minutes journey, this monster a-side of a track feels like a celebration of everything that makes us gather during those late hours. paired with a sonic wall that resembles mid 90’s lust for experimentation, which marks the entire a side of kalawila’s second release on his label. on the flip you’ll find even further explorations into the same territory. rest assured that virunga’s less organic but more metallic approach will find a place in the hands of more daring dj’s and listeners. the final track is a remix from jana sleep: a long lost tale of hibernation that keeps most hypnotists on the edge for more. this is only the beginning!
