nice price deal !!! the portraits series is a project born out of the meeting between music and art. the pictures on the record covers of the five releases are a sample of the photographic work of claudio gaiaschi, renowned milanese photographer, who shot dozens advertising campaigns for numerous international brands but also author of artistic pictures being showed at exhibitions in paris, london, new york, rome, baku, tblisi. claudio gaiaschi has been praised by masters artists of the photo like mario giacomelli and in tratti (the collection where the portraits series covers are taken from) he tells the stories of new families framing them in a non-pose having a result of >... pictures that last: in embarassment, in tenderness, in hostility. actual faces of ancestors.< (cit. nicola del falco)

the fourth release on this southern france based label is presented in a collaboration with the japanese production team orienta rhythm. their version is a funked up affair on a classic tip that with a jazzy edge that is spreading an uplifting feeling and features a soulful female vocal. mix2inside rework the track into a laidback piano driven affair, while blind sensation give it an electro reworking perfect for the main rooms. lastly there is fabrice protec makeover that adds a retro disco vibe to the track.

electricano was born in latvia in the small town of jelgava in 1980. he started dj-ing in 1997, playing as the resident in clubs of his native city. his favourite styles of music were funky house, disco house, soulful house, progressive house, tribal house – in fact any kind of house!

product comes with deluxe hot foil stamping print in a gatefold cover! electrica salsa, revisited 30 years later, remixes by roman flügel and henrik schwarz. france, italy, austria, germany, quite precisely thirty years ago, one electronic track turned the european music charts upside down: electrica salsa by the frankfurt project off - a collective producing their tracks at master music studio. the founders of organisation for fun were no underdogs: michael münzing and luca anzilotti would go on as duo snap! and write global hits like the power or rhythm is a dancer, writing pop history. and the third member of off was then 21-year-old sven väth, today one the most notorious international djs. michael and luca were the masters of equipment, responsible for the mixing desk and the recording tape we used to make the master tapes. i was the one providing song ideas, grooves and bringing a good mood to the studio.
