relating back to the etui records roots of monomood, abstract animal presents the remixes of absolute control that originally appeared on etuiltd 003. who can be more suitable for transforming the heavy chord sounds of the original into a forward pushing floor behemoth than 50 weapons multi talented sound artist benjamin damage? in addition to that monomood took a re-edit of his own track and put a even more dark and industrial feel on it. to close the circle etui records mastermind and dresdens very own insect o. converts the originals four to floor rhythm to a broken beat machine funk monster.

animal 004 introduces the alchemyst project by the two argentinian techno artist julixo and frederik who show us two creations of metallic dub techno and raw beat structures. on the b side code is law mastermind moerbeck puts some spooky atmosphere to the title track and monomood turns lucy into a chord driven funk monster.

on the third release abstract animal returns to heavy peaktime techno. on the a side you can bear witness monomoods ten minute analog threesome with his machines. on the b-side the fachwerk mastermind mike dehnert transforms the acid - vault, taken from the shtum001, into a dark and hypnotic techno cellar. rumbling rhythms and sharp pads keep your mind awake, when monomoods *the siren* on b1 howls through your ears.

humans are an abstraction of animal life form – and this is their soundtrack. on the first release monomood shows some light. but the light is pulsating in stroboscopic rhythms and enlightens shadows of moving creatures locked into a murky basement. if this is too disturbing for you, the well known grounded theory mastermind henning baer slows down the frequency to turn the raging floor into a dark moving mass hypnosis. after that you can recognize some dark scientists are brewing a fascinating cocktail out of boiling bass anddistorted sounds capes. drink it and you will know!

following critically acclaimed releases from eduardo de la calle, refracted, and monomood, connwax returns with another exceptional offering of bold and original techno. for this release, they have enlisted the help of a rising young talent in berlins underground scene: akme. the producer and resident dj of renowned club, about blank demonstrates his uncommon technical precision and emotional depth with this debut ep, drawing on his vast array of influences and experiences across all genres. in elements, the bass drum takes centre stage. the engine room relentlessly driving everything forward. yet as the track develops, a fine lattice work of detail starts to unfold. meticulous percussive elements imbue the piece with an enigmatic depth as a sombre melody sweeps through the rough rhythmic landscape. we are allowed a brief moment to reflect before the bass drum continues its inexorable path forward. akme takes a more reduced approach in black matter space is left for the interplay between the understated acid bassline and delicate hi-hats to lock the track into a hypnotic groove. here, the statement is defined by what is left unsaid. for the final track concealing, ak

etui records has opened the winter camp again and invited friends

having already released records by monomood and kryptic universe, shtum continues its trip through dark and gritty territories with its third record by yor.

the cl interpretations, based on the sixth melted recordings release cl versions of echtzeit, were firstly divided into two sucessful releases: part 1 and 2. now that more artists of circle of friends of melted have done their own interpretations, a third part was released. this time all tracks were based on the same track three, but now with a wide-spread spectrum of techno – from melodic, deep and dubtech to harder, diffused and current state of the art techno. monomood, known from the melted recordings friended label etui records, starts with his constructive warm and melodic rebuild called 3cl of echo. also aerror is here into deep dubtechno, much different as his last version of part 1. sector varied his track for part 1 into a more deep dub but kicking techno track terminals rmx. bassart, an austrian techno and electro dj, comes a with highly diffused hard techno interpretation – his first vinyl appearance. it is the first techno track (called cotta re-dub) of bons on vinyl, too. he is in the circle of friends and supporter of melted for many years, since the start in 1999.
