the double live album dark magus was recorded on march 30, 1974, at carnegie hall in new york city. dark magus was released after davis’ 1975 retirement. after releasing the live recordings agharta (1975) and pangaea (1976), dark magus was originally only released in japan.
the 180 gram audiophile vinyl is housed in a gatefold sleeve.

wire parasitism ep is inspired by the electronic music which was produced during the end of the 80s and beginning of the 90s by the likes of richard h. kirk, psychic tv, coil, dave campbell or lagowski (to name a few). walid el barbir uses his unique producing & sampling skills to create contemporary and industrial sounding compositions out of found footage like occult documentaries, rave stabs or emax sound-libraries. walid el barbir is a part of the collective les points based in zürich, switzerland. his art/music draws from 90s rave utopias, occultism, progressive & accessible frameworks as showcased at their offspace mikro - a physical room which has no doors and opening times during exhibitions and raves - making an institution available to all social layers.

it was in june of 1980. after a long and intense journey through time and space, rupert marnie met spiritual highness frater loannis and became his apprentice. the magus told him invaluable things, like controlling his precious bodily fluids and the holistic mastery of others’ endocrine glands. the greatest wisdom though reached him on his seventh day, when frater loannis professed him an an-cient ritual that would allow him to meet the titan ufohagen, also known as cdboy. it was the 4th, when he appeared, dressed in a long, slim silk cloak, a sprinkling wand in his right. rupert stood in awe, immediately losing his newly gained fluid control, and started crafting a piece of music, that would remind mankind that not all is lost, as long as there is almighty ufohagen.

mr. statik returns to amam with * a boy named crow*, a deeply personal release that draws its inspirations from murakamis beloved * kafka on the shore* novel. with it the greek producer further explores his favorite topics of sub consciousness & subliminal sensitivities in the form of 3 tracks that, although still aim at the dance floor, bear a strong sense of unconventionality via surreal sampling exercises, a healthy dose of surrealism and of course humor. complimenting the release xdb appears in precise remix duties, applying his particular skill set to transform clandestine into a late a.m. euphoric roller. mr. statiks * a boy named crow* ep is out on amam records on a vinyl only format .
