carlos grabstein, langjähriger partner von oráculo records, leitet das in berlin ansässige label miseria records. gestartet als diy-kassetten- und digital-label im jahr 2021, ist das label klar fokussiert und spezialisiert auf ultra-rare synthie-basierte darkwave-compilations. jetzt im jahr 2023 schließt sich miseria mit oráculo records zusammen, um zum ersten mal eine auswahl seiner besten bisherigen veröffentlichungen im vinyl-format zu präsentieren, präsentiert im double gatefold-format in einer wirklich limitierten auflage von 300 exemplaren, gepresst auf hochwertigem, massivem schwarzem vinyl mit lackierung. alle tracks wurden von daniel hallhuber in den young and cold studios (deutschland) speziell für vinyl gemastert.

_asstnt & roll dann collaborate to deliver the inaugural release on their opera 2000 imprint entitled -back from the morgue-. -back from the morgue- kicks things off with blistering drums scattered around growling modulations and twisted vocals keeping the atmosphere weird yet wonderful before -the hill of hanged- continues with resonating kicks fused with undulating, grime-influenced strings and sinister elements throughout. on the flip, -coalescence- maintains the effervescent moods through storming grooves, dramatic soundscapes and powerful oscillations while -dirty mistress- features heavy, syncopated percussion peppered with distortion and dystopian leaning oscillations to bring this beautifully dramatic ep to a close.

we are truly excited about this releaseas we have been fans of vendi s work for quite some time now. the reflection of great cities of barcelona where he started experimenting with electronic music and berlin where he is currenty residing is palpable. the passion for producing great music has been recognised by the heavyweights like raresh and jamie jones to name but few. here at hoxton records we are very proud to have him on our 4th release. this one is definitely going to be proudly hanged on the wall (after being played a million times of course)
