zk bucket with his label zaun is the newest addition for our distribution. his first release contains four dark tracks to get lost in. -kutsche- drives you into the night and -reptile wins- is the last track before losing consciousness. dixon has played -let your body ctrl the beat- for some weeks now and if kristian opened panoramabar for one time and not like always closed it you could hear him playing some downtempodarkness too.. now this is finally available for everybody!! lennart

novoline makes music with equipment that was manufactured in 1988 and 1989, controlled via midi by two atari sts. as a sequencer he is using an algorithmic composition program that is 25 years old. with this program he creates sequences that he modulates live by shifting numbers and settings while recording. the process is improvised and contains a good portion of randomly generated melodies and drums, carefully selected and combined by novoline. the result sounds a little like something between a dark 80’s sci-fi soundtrack and an endless marching new beat extended version.

the ep is produced on a minimal setup: jupiter 4 & minibrute on a 4-track cassette recorder and comes in a hand printed sleeve.

mit »zwischen den runden« ist das letzte kettcar-album nun bereits fünf jahre her. drei jahre liegt auch »konfetti«, das solodebüt von sänger marcus wiebusch, zurück.
deshalb dürfen wir uns 2017 besonders über das neue album der hamburger indierocker freuen. »ich vs. wir« heißt die mittlerweile fünfte studioplatte von kettcar.
elf songs hat die band dafür geschrieben und aufgenommen. die produktion übernahm philipp steinke (bosse, revolverheld, mark forster).
limitierte special-lp mit gestanztem gatefold-cover und booklet im lp-format plus downloadcode.

die a-seite -annapurna-, titel-track der ep, ist das perfekte werkzeug, um zur peaktime den club in einen rave zu verwandeln. kick, ein durchdringender arpeggio, pads und ein paar effekte - wieder einmal ein beweis, dass manchmal weniger mehr ist. mit der b-seite -semikolon- zeigt sich jeremy liar von einer deeperen seite. verträumte pads, begleitet von getunten 808 cowbells und unterstützt von einer gewaltigen bassline, entsteht der vibe den man bereits von seinem remix für christoph vogel kennt. semikolon ist als gegenstück zur a-seite eine deepere produktion, die besondere momente auf open airs als auch im club garantiert. abgerundet wird die ep mit remixes von avidus, die gemeinsam mit christoph vogel eine deepere version der a-seite liefern, sowie von zk bucket, dem gründer und betreiber von zaun recordings, der aus semikolon einen echten floorkiller macht.
